Who's Lexie?

Part 6

The next day kara and Alex woke in their hotel to the sun shining. They had woken up late in the morning but it was ok because they had nothing to do before lunch.
"I leave today" Kara said as they got ready.
"I know you do, I'll miss you" Alex told her, "don't do anything crazy and get yourself killed while I'm gone"
"You're the one talking, don't get in any planes and actually die again" Kara joked.
They finished getting ready and ate a small breakfast well, Alex did. It was not long before they were letting her friends for lunch so she didn't eat too much.
The pair walked down the busy streets of Seattle in silence. They admired everything that they pass. Lexie, taking in the city that she once lived in and Kara admiring the city she's never been too.
They walked down the street towards the small restaurant they were meeting the others for lunch. When they got there, by surprise, Alex was there early. Kara and Lexie joined him and he told them that Jo was on her way and was just finishing at the hospital.
Kara introduced herself to Alex, "I'm Kara" she smile as she sat down.
"Alex" was all he said in reply. He didn't seem to want to be there, maybe he just wanted Jo there.
Kara looked at her sister with a face saying this is awkward. Also she felt a little weird, calling her sister Lexie instead of Alex and calling someone else her name.
"We've met before, that first night Lexie came back" Alex said.
"Oh yeah that's right, Alex- I mean Lexie had me stressed that day, everything was a blur" Kara replied.
Just then, Jo arrived with Cristina, jo sat next to Alex, in between him and Kara and Cristina sat in between Alex and Lexie, across from Kara.
Cristina glanced at Kara and rolled her eyes before turning to talk to Alex. Both Kara and Lexie saw Cristina do it and Kara looked at Lexie confused. They stared at each other for a moment before they both chuckled quietly.
The table was filled with an awkward silence when a waitress came by and left some menus at the table and some waters.
"So uh- how are things at the hospital, you know with Mer gone" Lexie broke the silence.
"You mean the hospital named after you when it turns out you're not dead" Alex said sarcastically.
"Ha yeah that's the one" Lexie glanced at Kara who was just listening to the conversation, not knowing anyone else very well.
"Well it's actually been feeling quite empty with Mer missing and Derek gone" Cristina let out and the table fell silent again.
"Well when I get back home, maybe I could get Winn to find her for you guys" Kara spoke up for the first time and everyone looked at her confused.
"Who's Winn and how could he do that" Jo asked.
"Where we work has uh- advanced technology that could help and Winn is a friend of ours" Kara looked at Lexie
"You're friend" Lexie said to her, not admitting that Winn is actually one of her best friends now too.
"Oh you love him too" Kara grinned at her sister. Everyone else just listened to what they were saying, having no idea what was going on.
"Well where do you work that has stuff that could do that?" Alex asked.
"Uhh-" Kara avoided the question by sipping at her water when the waitress came back and took all their orders.

This part is short and I have no excuse for not updating. I open this story everyday and can only write a few sentences if any at all. I'm trying and I'm gonna finish but I can't promise that it'll be good.
