The Stormcaller's Journey

Chapter 2

Over the years the abuse from his 'friends' only had gotten worse. What started off as small beatings and name calling turned into the young boy being a total outcast and several severe beatings a day. No one at school wanted to be his friends, well some people did but would be threatened by Katsuki before they could form a relationship with Izuku. He didn't even have support at home, anytime Izuku told Inko he wanted to be a hero he noticed a look of guilt come across her face even when she said 'I Believe in you.' 

No matter what anyone said Izuku vowed he would become the first quirkless hero ever to prove them all wrong. On his way to school, A villain with some sort of gigantic quirk was was blocking a railroad track and destroying the area around him. Luckily pro hero's Death Arms, Backdraft, and Kamui Woods were here to save the day, but before he could use his Lacquered Chain Prison, a brand new Pro named Mt.Lady stopped the villain. With the villain in police custody and Mt.Lady taking praise for the capture Izuku took his notes and went on his way to school.

"So, as third year students, it's time to think about your futures and what you want to do with your lives. But why bother we all know you all want to go down the hero track." as soon as the teacher finished his sentence the class erupted now cheer expect four students.
"Yes, yes you all have some very impressive quirks but no power usage during school." The teacher said. "Hey teach, don't lump me in with these bunch of losers. I'm the real deal but these guys will be lucky to end up as a sidekick to some busted d-lister." Katsuki said. The class started shouting at Katsuki

'Crap.' Izuku thought to himself. 

The whole class started laughing at him and making fun of him, before he could say anything he was blasted out of his seat. "Listen up Deku someone as useless as you can't be a hero!" Katsuki yelled.

"They got rid of that rule a few years back! I can at least try." Izuku whimpered.  

After class and everyone left, Izuku was quickly packing but before he could leave he was stopped by his bullies. "What are thinking Deku? Do you really think a quirkless bastard like you can become a hero?" Before Izuku could say anything, Katsuki took in notebook "What the hell is this? 'Hero analysis book #13' Do you really think this will help you?" Katsuki yelled, while exploding the book, setting it on fire and throwing it out the window.

As he was leaving Katsuki said something that shookI zuku to his core. "If you really want to be a hero there may actually be another way. Just pray you'll be born with a quirk in your next life and take a swan dive off the roof of the building."Katsuki said before leaving without looking back.

As Izuku was walking away under a overpass he heard something that sounded like water, after turning around he was met with a green liquid with two giant eyes and a huge mouth " You'll make a perfect skin suit." The pile of sludge said. Before Izuku could run he was captured. "Don't worry, I'm just taking your body. It'll be easier for the both of us is you quit struggling. It will only hurt for a minute. You'll feel better soon."

'I can't breath.' Izuku thought as he was trying I claw the villain.
"Grab all you want, my body is made of liquid. Thanks for the help." The villain taunted. 'My body...getting weak. I.....I. Think I'm dying.... No way... not like this. Somebody.... Help.'

The manhole cover blew off "Have no fear, you're safe. Now that I am here." A voice said. The villain tried to attack the voice, but the they quickly dogged. "Texas SMASH!" The voice said. The sludge villain couldn't hold himself together Izuku woke up he felt someone slapping his face. When he regained consciousness he noticed his favorite hero.

"All Might!" Izuku nearly fainted again. "Holy crap. I got your autograph." Izuku squealed. "Well I gotta take this guy to the police so they can't take of him. Stay out of trouble. See you around." All Might said. Before Izuku could say anything, All Might was ready to jump off.

When All Might was flying through the air he felt he was heavier than usual. When looking down he saw a familiar green haired boy, worried for his son's safety he landed on a roof and was about to tell him that was very dangerous, but before he could say anything Izuku asked a question. "Even if I don't have a quirk, can I become a hero? Could I ever hope to be like you?" Izuku asked while looking at the turned away All Might.

"I'm sorry young man some villains can't be beaten without a quirk, they will take advantage of that weakness. Pro heroes are always having to risk their lives. So can you be a hero? Not without a quirk." All Might said. Izuku world just shattered all he could do was stare in shock, his hero not just his hero, but the Japan's #1 hero just said he couldn't be a hero. 

"If you want to save people become a doctor or a police officer. Sure they get crap because the hero's capture most of the villains. But it's a fine profession. It's not bad having dreams, just make sure they're attainable." All Might said before jumping off leaving Izuku on the roof. Izuku just stood there shocked until realization hit him like a truck, he fell to his knees and screamed while he punched the ground a singular time.

After a few minutes of crying Izuku decided it was time to go home. As he walked the nearly empty streets of Musutafu he remembered what All Might said all those years a ago.

"Anyone can be a hero." 

'Liar.' He thought.

"LIAR!" Izuku screamed out unable to control his anger. What he didn't notice was the beautiful sunset was being forced into hiding by dark clouds.
