Before the warm light of the sun flooded the streets of Musutafu, Izuku was up and getting ready for his first day training with All Might. Due to overusing his quirk, Izuku's cells deteriorated causing him to spend a few days in the hospital. He ran out the door of his apartment, running through the streets feeling the cool crisp morning breeze blow past him. He was wearing a white t-shirt with the words 'All' and a big letter 'M' right under, a pair of light blue sweatpants, and his signature red shoes his father gifted him.
'All Might asked me to meet him at Dagobah Beach.' He thought to himself as he reached the training location. 'But why'?
Izuku entered a landfill. Trash piles that blocked the sun littered the are and standing there was a walking skeleton of a man. He had crazy blonde hair with two extra long strands dangling forward, sunken in face features, and scrawny arms. He was wearing a plain black shirt, white black sweats, and white shoes.
"Ah young Midoriya, there you are." He said.
"Huh? How do you know my name? Who are you?" Izuku questioned.
"Hmm? It's me All-pffff." Before he could finish his sentence a gush of blood came spewing out of his mouth. Causing Izuku to scream in shock.
"You're not All Might! Someone help! Imposter!" Izuku shouted.
Suddenly in a poof All Might in all his buff glory was standing in front of the scared boy. "See young Midoriya. It's me."
"A-All Might? But how?" Izuku stutured out. The giant Pro lifted his shirt and showed a nasty inward scar that engulfed the majority of his left torso.
"Five years ago I was in a nasty fight. Almost no one knows about it and I'd like to keep it that way." He said while putting his shirt back down. "It destroyed most of my respiratory system and all the surgeries to fix me only weakened me. I can only do Hero work for around three hours a day, the rest of the time I look like that.
Izuku stood in shock at what he just heard. A villain, someone with such great power could do that to All Might,
"Enough chit chat it's time to get to work." All Might claimed getting on top of a huge fridge surrounded by rope. "Move this."
Izuku quickly ran and grabbed two loops and started to pull. No matter how much he tried he couldn't move the fridge especially with All Might on it. He heard the hulking giant speak over his grunts.
"It's getting pretty comfortable up here." He gloated. "How you doing down there?"
Izuku tried to pull but ended up falling flat on his face.
"People move these everyday you know? And most of them don't even have super strength."
"Yeah, but there's an extra 600 pounds with you on it." Izuku explained while sitting up on his knees.
"Nah. I've lost weight, so I'm down to 560 these days. In this form at least."
Izuku couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. "Great. Why do you have me dragging trash across the beach anyways? My quirk isn't even a physical one."
"Since your quirk took a long time to show itself, your scrawny body can barely handle its power. That's why you could hardly use it before the destruction of your body's cellular tissue." All Might explained. "Plus I did some research yesterday. Turns out this part of the beach used to be beautiful, but it's been a mess for the past few years."
All Might was right. Izuku remembered walking along the shore line with his mom when he was young. But due to the ocean currents, all the trash ended up on the beach. Now people took advantage of it when illegally dumping their trash. Now even the locals avoid this place.
"Heroes these days are all about showing off and catching villains." All Might said putting his right hand on the fridge and started pushing down. "Things were different before quirks, service was what mattered. Then, Heroes were those who helped the community, even if it was boring."
All Might pushed harder until he crushed the fridge like it was just a plain old soda can. "You'll clean the entire coast line. That's your first step in your Hero training."
Izuku looked around and the trash looked like it went on forever. The whole coast? Only in ten months? All Might was serious about this training. But Izuku was up for the challenge if it meant we would go to the top hero school in Japan.
The next ten months were hell for Izuku. At first he focused on using different muscle groups to move the trash. First starting with the lighter stuff like old tires, decrepit wooden crates, and a few household appliances. After around three months Izuku had built some muscle, his abs, chest, arms, and legs were more defined. But it wasn't just his physical appearance that slightly changed. Before he was seen as the class loser, no one wanted to really talk to him unless they had trouble with school work.
But after his class discovered he had a quirk they started to become more friendly with him. Sure, none except Bakugo and maybe his friends but they never said. To the rest of his classmates Izuku had a simple quirk that let him produce atmospheric phenomena from his body. Which was true but that was only the surface of his abilities.
Next, Izuku trained on using his quirk to move the trash around. He learned how to generate wind and use it to carry trash around.
"Good job. Now let's see if we can try and get you to use more than wind." All Might said. "Now destroy that pile of garbage."
Izuku looked at the pile in front of him, and it stared right back. He put his right hand out and thought about destroying the pile. He felt a warm, almost burning sensation traveling from his arm to his hand. Then a beam of lightning shot from his hand and obliterated the pile of garbage.
'Holy Crap! I just shot lightning.' Izuku thought.
"Just as I thought. Your quirk allows you to unlock the full power of weather." All Might said.
The next few months were trained on Izuku controlling his abilities. During this time he could make small clouds, make fog, control and produce wind currents, generate heat, cold, and even electricity. This made it easier for Izuku to get a good handle of his quirk and know its limitations, especially with a drawback so devastating. There was still around three and a half months until the entrance exam.
"All Might?" Asked Izuku.
"Hmm?"
"I was wondering, since you're training me. Does that mean Istill get to take the entrance exam?"
All Might was silent for a bit, worrying Izuku.
"Unfortunately, since the day your quirk manifested, the commission and U.A. have decided you'll go straight into the hero course. Of course that means an extra spot will open in each class."
Izuku was happy he would be able to join the hero course, but another part of him wanted to prove he could make it, just being handed the position left a dirty taste in his mouth. But that just means he'll have to prove to everyone that we could do it. The next three months Izuku used his quirk, larger than ever before, to control the sky itself.
At the beginning it was just changing slight weather patterns like a partly cloudy day into a sunny one. Then Izuku started changing a warm sunny day into a frigid blizzard. However, this put a large strain on his body, causing him to double over in pain multiple times. But the more he used his quirk to the extent, the more his body got used to his power.
"You've come a long way from the boy I started training ten months ago. You now have a basic understanding of your quirk, and can control it more now." All Might explained. "However, you must remember this power is incredibly dangerous and the effects it has on your body."
"Yes sir."
"Good, now get some rest. While you aren't taking the entrance exam you still have personal training to do while I'm away."
"I understand sir!" Izuku said, smiling while running back to his apartment. Finally after years of dreaming he was not only going to U.A. but he was trained by Japan's number one Hero. Things were finally looking good for him. What could go wrong?
