Sooooo... I know I kept saying I wouldn't forget about you guys, and I never did, but remembering to write when your life is extremely busy at the moment is kind of hard. Honestly I am so happy that there are still people out there who read this. This book, or this random piece of work rather, has reached 680 reads. T_T I can't believe that after all this time people are still reading this. I know the last time I posted was September of 2020, but I wanted to give you all a little life update....
*Dramatic drum roll, if you will*
Me and my boyfriend, Dylan, have an apartment together!!!
I know what you're thinking-
A) You guys have only been together for 2 years (today marks two years we've been together as a couple)
B) Why would you do something so life changing?
And to answer both of those questions:
A) Dylan's grandma was going to kick him out with nowhere to live, so I had to be on the lease in order for him to have a roof on his head. Yes, I still live at home, but I come stay the night at least a couple days throughout each week. When Dylan told his grandma that we got the keys to the apartment, she packed everything and put it in the living room ready for him to grab. Like literally EVERYTHING! His clothes, shoes, things that he owned, etc. They were all packed and ready to go.
B) I've been with Dylan a long time. I know someone out there is going to say, "But! But! You barely know each other! Do you know that average time it takes to get to know someone? 4 Years!!!" All I'm going to say to that is, when you meet someone you are head over heels for, who makes you rainy days turn into sunny days, who reminds you everyday you are worth it, you are beautiful, kind, caring, and a overall wonderful human being, you want to stay with them. That's the kind of love I enjoy anyways. I have insecurities, however, he never ceases to remind me every single day that I am pretty and beautiful.
So yes, I am staying with a guy who loves me unconditionally as much as I love him and when the timing is right you will know. You will know you are meant to be with someone. It's not going to happen right away, and yes, I really wasn't sure about Dylan in the beginning and I gave him a chance and that chance was the most wonderful thing I could have ever done.
With that being said...
I am officially a Registered Behavioral Technician as of June 8th, 2021! I started a job for helping children with autism and developmental disabilities in October 2020, got my first client at the end of last year, then also got 2 other clients since then in 2021.
Super stoked to be apart of making a difference in the lives of young children who need this type of thing. It doesn't even feel like I'm even working... I love my job that much. It's to the point that I'm getting a Bachelors Degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis and hopefully become a supervisor with my company.
I just wanted to give you all a little life update! I really am glad that some people read this. It makes me so happy seeing more and more reads as the time continues of me not logging in to post often lol. To me it's kind of more exciting that way! I also can't believe I started this book in 2017 either. It's basically a journal at this point lol.
Stay slaying my dudes <3
