Giorno had always seemed a bit clingy ever since you met him.

You and your friend Koichi had been sent by Jotaro to investigate the boy, who was a child of Dio.

You had gone to school with Josuke and Koichi, who introduced you to Jotaro. After graduating, you became a Speedwagon Foundation agent.

After graduating, you had also been asked out by the mangaka, Rohan Kishibe, who you turned down. This was the main reason you accepted this particular job from Jotaro, as you weren't comfortable facing the now heartbroken artist at the moment.

But back to Giorno.

He was a real jerk to you the first day you met him. He was arrogant with an 'I'm better than you' attitude.

Of course, little did you know that he was just trying to keep your attention, to have you notice him. He switched up his strategy after you said that you didn't like his attitude.

"What's the matter, cara? Have I done something to upset you?"

That was a blow to Giorno. He had been so confident until you came along. There was just something about you he couldn't explain, but he desperately wanted your approval and love from the moment he laid eyes on you at the airport.

"Please cara. I must know your name. May I give you a ride into the city? I can show you around."

And when he found out that you had actually come to Italy for him, well from then on he believed that your meeting him at the airport was simply meant to be.

"I'm happy you've come into my life, Y/N, and not a moment too soon. You see, I have a dream, and you, Y/N, have just given me new life to make that dream real."

His initial dream had changed of course. You were his dream now. Taking down Passione and cleaning up the streets were now secondary, only a means to impress you. After telling you about his plan, you told him that you thought it was good and just. You became close to him quickly and he was ecstatic.

"I want you to know that I'm doing this for you, bella. Would you like that? Would you love me then?"

Giorno was always open about how much he loved you, but you always thought he was just teasing you when he said things like that. Still, you quickly came to consider Giorno a good friend. A complicated person to be sure, but someone with a heart of gold. However, when you offered to join him on his mission, he angrily refused.

"How dare you even suggest something like that, Y/N?! Do you honestly think I could ever allow you to do such a thing? Please, amore mio, stay here where it is safe. When this is over, I will come for you."

You were concerned about Giorno's wellbeing, which made his heart leap.

"Do not worry, bella. I swear to you I will return. It is fate."

And Giorno did return and come for you. You had been in Italy only for nearly a week, seeing the sights and whatnot. Now that you knew that Giorno was someone you didn't have to worry about, you had a relaxing time. In Giorno's absence however, you thought of him often, hoping he was still alive and well. It was a dangerous undertaking after all. Were you catching feelings? You thought it was ridiculous considering you barely knew the man.
