I was talking to my friend about homes and the feeling of belonging, and this random thought struck me which I thought I'd share.

I feel like humans are essentially turtles without the shell and they roam around all their lives finding one to fit inside and call it home. Countless shells are tossed aside and thrown out in the process, but I guess the happiness from finding the shell they can finally live in without any worries would outweigh the burden of carrying the others.

I don't know if I've found my shell yet, but I've not stopped searching. Who knows, if there's really a home, maybe it'll find its way to me too :)

Happy home hunting all of you! And if you've already found one, happy living :D
