My gaze falls on you
You're shimmering in a thousand gems
I leave the camera behind me
Such pretty things are invisible through a lens
As bright as sunlight on a lake
You're illuminating solace on my presence
Hugging the ends of my fingers with yours
Into my ear, you whisper words of credence
I didn't know it was you who I wanted
But I'm glad you decided to show it to me
Even if I'm not one with a brimmin' wallet
I'm the richest person when you're here with me
And I
Love you for what you are
Love you for what you let me be
And we
Just couldn't get any better
But you keep proving me wrong infinitely
Resting our backs on each other's
We describe the sides of the world we see,
Then we turn around and show it to one another
And let our thoughts rule the lands accordantly
I didn't notice you were always walking right here
But I'm glad you decided to show it to me
Even if I'm drowning in a pain that sears
You're on a lifeboat out there rescuing me
And I
Love you for what you are
Love you for what you let me be
And we
Just couldn't get any better
But you keep proving me wrong infinitely
When I found you
The sky first bloomed
Blossoms rained
On all of my wounds
And I
Love you for what you are
Love you for what you let me be
And we
Just couldn't get any better
But you keep proving me wrong infinitely!
