Mind the gap between my heart and my mind
There's a thing in that place called a mouth that speaks
Stuff that I don't even want to say sometimes
But it's got so damn many annoying leaks.
It spews out words abnormally distasteful,
Like the poisoned apple Snow White ate
Pathological lies, misheard cries,
Or seemingly exasperating clickbait.
However, realize that it can be sweet too
Just not always, so please bear me at my lows
I can't always be nice; nobody can, really
So stay by me, until it decides to outgrow.
