AMARI AND HER class walked out onto the track waiting for their teacher to come out. The girl pulled on the fabric of her shorts trying to make it longer.
"What do you think we're doing today?" Kei asked causing the girl to shrug in response.
"Whatever it is, I'm kicking everyone's ass." Amari said, she's always been competitive when it comes to sports.
"I hate PE, it's sucks." Ganke said as he and Miles walked up to the girls.
"Bruh what you talking bout, PE is awesome." Miles said standing next to Amari.
"Right?!" Amari agreed.
Kei and Ganke looked at the both of them while shaking their heads. "You guys are weird."
"Alright class!" Mrs Pax called out catching everyone's attention. "Today we're going to be doing some individual and team races to help improve your CRE."
Groans could be heard from the class. "Bro I hate running." Kei spoke up. "The only place I run to is the fridge... then back to my bed." The girl said while turning to Amari who was smirking to herself as she cracked her knuckles.
"She's scaring me right now." Ganke whispered to Kei while also looking over at Amari.
"To start, we're gonna do two laps around the track for warm up, get going!" Miss Pax called out.
Amari ran beside Miles while Kei and Ganke followed quite far behind.
"What's wrong?" The girl questioned turning to Miles.
"Huh?"
"You're really quiet, what're you thinking about?"
"Oh. Uh, I'm gonna go visit my uncle in hospital. I heard from my dad that he's recovering well so I wanna see him." Miles said looking ahead.
"Okay, I can stop by if you want, I gotta go see May anyway. I mean, we did kinda destroy her home." Amari said as she and Miles over took some students in front.
