TUESDAY [19:54]
"THE NUCLEUS OF an atom with an atomic number 17 has a mass number of 37. How many neutrons does the nucleus contain?" Miles read from his paper.
Him, Amari and Ganke had all decided to do their chemistry homework together. The girl was currently sitting next to Miles on his bed, both of them wrapped up in the same blanket.
Ganke groaned, the teenager rubbed his eyes while he spun in his chair.
"20 neutrons." Amari answered as she bit the end of her pen. "Since an element with 17 protons will always be chlorine-"
"Ari, don't even bother trying to explain, I'll never understand." Ganke mumbled as he fixed his glasses.
"Aren't you smart?" The girl asked while she and Miles wrote the answer down.
"In the tech department, yeah." Ganke replied.
"Honestly, I've never understood why they made us do University questions. We're only in high school." Miles sighed as he placed his paper onto his bed.
"These are high school questions." Amari pointed out, laying on the bed.
"Oh. Then I must be stupid then."
They all sat in silence, Amari could hear as Ganke typed on his computer, most likely coding something like he always did.
The girl furrowed her brows before quickly sitting up, startling Miles a little.
"Did you hear that?" The girl asked.
"Not everyone has super hearing, Amari." Ganke said nonchalantly now turning towards her.
"I hear police cars, lots of them."
"Let's go check it out, maybe something's happening." Miles got up from his bed and brought out his suit.
"Hell yeah, we're gonna go fight crime!" Ganke exclaimed.
