"THIS PLACE IS huge..." Ganke mumbled as he and the rest of his year looked around the spacious building.
"If you come this way, we'll go to the big hall to meet with the other three schools." Dr Fox said as she led them towards where the big hall was.
Amari lightly squeezed Miles' hand, gaining his attention. "I don't get good vibes from her... at all." The girl whispered, her eyes scanning every area of the building and making sure to take a mental image of every single detail incase of emergency.
"Me neither." Miles replied while entering the hall.
The whole hall went quiet as soon as Amari and her year walked in. All eyes were on them, watching as they all filled in the remaining empty seats. Amari sat beside Miles with Kei on her left while Ganke sat on Miles' right.
They all watched as Dr Fox walked onto a podium with a speaker on it. "Can you guys hear me?" She asked, her smile never leaving her face.
"Okay..." she sighed, looking over at all the students that sat before her. "Good morning, as some of you may know, my name is Dr Fox and I'm the new head of Alchemax."
"So she's replacing Doc Ock?" Amari mumbled to herself.
"Small tags are going to be passed around, you guys can write your names and stick it on your shirts for others to see."
Amari collected a tag and pen that Miles had given her before writing her name and sticking it onto her shirt.
"Here at Alchemax." Dr Fox started after seeing that all the students were paying attention to her. "We have the technology to improve the world..."
Amari stretched as she got up from her seat. They'd just finished listening to the introduction which took about half an hour.
Dr Fox had instructed all of the students to go to the lunch hall to have something to eat before they started their first activity.
