"I hate her. I don't get what Deklyn sees in her dude." I nearly yelled to Blaine in the food court.

"Vic, just let it go. You've been after Deklyn for years and he hasn't shown any interest in you." Jaxon snaps at me.

"He kissed me. I think that its safe to say he likes me too." I rolled my eyes at him.

"No you fucking threw yourself at him at a party where he was completely sober and you were being a wasted slut, Victoria." Jaxon says and looks at me with a nasty glare.

"Whatever I don't need this. I'm going to call him." I stood up, grabbed my phone and walked off towards one of the fountains away from the food court. I unlocked my phone and opened his contact. I was about to press call when something caught my eye. I looked over and saw her. I saw the girl that I've grown to hate. She looked lost as she came out of the store. I quickly got up and made my way towards her. Her confused and lost look dramatically changed when her eyes settled on me.

"What do you want?" She asked as she straightened her posture.

"I just wanted to know if you've seen Deklyn." I say playing nice to her.

"I've been in the shop, haven't seen him since. If you do tell him I'll be around." She dismisses me and walks off towards other stores.

Be glad all she did was dismiss you, it could have been your throat instead of your arm this time. I shook off my thoughts as I slowly made my way to the inner isles of the mall where all of the kiosks stay. After a few minutes of strolling along mindlessly scrolling through Instagram, I spotted Deklyn at one of the phone service kiosks talking to a girl. I immediately walked towards him and once I got behind him I wrapped my arms around his waist.

"Guess who!" I giggled.

"Kat?" He said.

I threw my hands off of him and stepped away.

"No asshole, its Victoria." I snarled.

Deklyn turns around to meet my face but doesn't look amused in the slightest.

"What do you want Victoria? I'm busy." He says in a dismissive tone.

"I was just talking to your little girlfriend. She seemed upset. I told her you went home." I smiled at him.

"You are such a bitch. Get the hell out of here Victoria. I don't know what you think you're doing but it's not cute and it's not attractive but it sure is annoying." He screams at me.

I wanted to cry right there. I wanted to bawl my eyes out and make him feel sorry for me. I wanted him to wrap his arms around me and love me, not her. I wanted him to at least care for me and look at me the way he looks at her. I don't like how everyone views me but how else would I be able to hold someone's attention long enough for them to be interested? Deklyn glared at me like I was the ugliest person he had ever seen. I was so lost in thought I didn't know what to say back to him when his gaze shifted past me into the distance. I turned around to see what captured his attention. It was Katarina wearing her same raggedy clothes as she did at school. She reminded me of a thoroughly used Barbie doll with excessive eyeliner. She must have saw my thoughts reflecting on my face because she smirked at me and walked over to Deklyn then slipped her arm around his waist.

"You weren't supposed to be done for a while Kitty Kat what are you doing?" He smiles at Katarina.

"It was a much quicker process that you'd think. Uncomfortable, yes. Wendy helped me pick out some things and made the process less.." She paused like she was looking for the right word. "Agonizing." She finished as her accent flicked off her lips.

"Well you got here just in time because I have a surprise for you." Deklyn turns around grabbing a brand new iPhone off the kiosk counter.

"W..What is this?" Kat says as Deklyn sets the phone in her hands.

"Well your other phone was.. um.. inadequate.. so with permission I was granted to get this for you. Even my grandparents have iPhones so its no big deal." He chuckled at her.

"You're going to have to teach me how to use it." Kat laughed nervously and the both of them turned away from me resting their elbows on the counter.

Kat turned her head to look at me raising an eyebrow.

"Why are you still here?" She asked me.

I couldn't come up with an answer. All I could do was back away and walk the other way quietly. Blaine and Jaxon were standing by a nearby store entrance watching the entire interaction. I walked up to them slowly and shamefully. Jaxon had a small smirk on his face which made me feel even more embarrassed.

"I'm not sure what's funnier, the fact that Deklyn basically told you to go fuck yourself, in a politer way of course, or the fact that Katarina had to literally turn around to ask what what the hell you were doing." Jaxon and Blaine both laughed at me.

I turned my head to see them one last time together at the kiosk laughing and smiling at each other before catching up with the my friends and leaving the mall.

I just wish he would love me.
