Pilot part 1
Three years went by since that fateful night I gave birth, and my parents brought us home. My mom was worried about what happened to me but began to get things prepared for me, and my daughter. My dad wanted to find the father of my daughter, but I requested that he doesn't since he's not worth looking for. Trina, on the other hand, went ballistic on me for running away from home. Lastly, it's my little girl. I named her Alexis Vera Vega. She rarely cries or throws a tantrum. The only time she cries is if she gets scared, but she changed for three years despite being two her hair is curly, and can walk & talk and she could be energetic a lot. I got held back a year of school after I came back home finishing up my school year and began 10th grade. Things began to change on one faithful day. My science partner and I were working on a science project while Alexis is coloring on her coloring books. The minute Trina entered Alexis jumped a bit from Trina slamming the door.
"I am so upset! You won't believe who I got partnered with for the big showcase?"
"Who?"
"Andrew Harris! A tenth grader!"
"What's the big showcase?"
"It's a performance they put on at her school every year."
"They invite agents and directors and producers and other super-powerful people in show business and are extremely important which is why I am so upset! And GoodBye!"
She grabbed Ian, and kicked him out of the house to both mine, and Alexis was shocked.
"Hey! He and I have a science project due tomorrow! I'll have to bring in my mold bush."
"No! Andrew's coming over and you got to help us figure out what to do for the big showcase! I definitely wanna sing!"She began to play the piano and sang off-key badly, and loud that Alexis covered her ears must not like her singing.
"How was that?"
"Loud?"
"Awesome!"
"Bwad," Alexis said to Trina's shock that I giggled a bit from what she said as the doorbell rang.
"Ugh, he's here," Trina said as I went to pick up Alexis.
"Let's go upstairs, and leave Trina alone."
"No you two stay!" Trina said as she opened the door. "Come in."
"Thanks." The boy name Andrew said as he came in.
"Tori, this is Andrew."
"Andre. Who is this cute little girl?"
"This is Alexis. She's.."
"Tori's daughter." The moment she said that I glared at her for saying that.
"Seriously Trina!?" I said annoyed. "Anyway yeah, this is my daughter Alexis."
"Hwi," Alexis said a bit happily.
"So you attend Hollywood Arts High too?"
"No, I'm not a performer."
"Yep. I've got the talent," Trina said as I saw Alexis give Trina a no she doesn't look. Andre spotted the piano and began to play it so Alexis claps happily to the short performance.
The next five days I've helped them rehearse while Alexis, distracted by her coloring, wanted to throw her toy duck because of Trina's singing, and I have to agree with her.
The big showcase arrived, and I ditched school to watch the big showcase with my parents and Alexis. We went backstage where we saw Trina's tongue swollen because of an allergic reaction from a Chinese herb she drank to help with her singing. Andre then suggested that I perform the song. I didn't want to, but after mom grabbed Alexis I was dragged to get dressed, and I was put on stage where I nervously began to perform, but felt confident with high praise that even Alexis loved my performance as well.
After the performance, the principal of Hollywood Arts High gave me a full invitation to attend and in front of the audience, I accepted the invite even Andre asked the audience if I'm good enough for Hollywood Arts High which they gave me a positive remark which gave me more confidence in joining.
Look out Hollywood Arts High here comes Tori Vega.
