Locked Up

So we have no vacation plans coming up although I would spend my vacation with Alexis till Festus suggested a trip to Yerba for free if they perform there for seven nights. My parents suggested I take Trina to Yerba after an incident involving mini golf. I was able to get Sikowitz to come with us, and Jade & Beck asked to come as well since Beck's aunt is afraid of Jade. Just before I could be excited my phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Tori, it's your mom. You might want to come home fast."

"Something happened to Alexis?"

"Her daycare has to close because of an outbreak, and Alexis got very sick."

"Okay I'm on my way."

I quickly hung up worried.

"I have to go home, and fast. Alexis got really sick."

I ran out of the classroom yelling for Trina through the halls to find her, and for us to get home.

"No need to yell for me, Tori."

"We need to get home now!!"

"But I was about to show the dresses I'm going to wear at-."

"Now Trina!! Alexis just got sick, and I need to get to her."

"Fine only doing this for Alexis."

We left the school, and got home as I got out of the car, and into the house panicking about my daughter's health.

"Is Alexis okay?"

"Not entirely. Alexis got very sick at daycare."

"Is it a cold or fever?"

"You might want to see for yourself."

"Where is she?"

"On the couch after your dad sanitizes it, and put towels on it."

"Mommy itchy!!"

I realized when I went to her that Alexis caught the chickenpox, and tried to scratch herself due to her becoming itchy.

"Sweetie please don't scratch yourself." I told her knowing that she would get really bad scratch marks if she continued to scratch herself while I tried to stop her.

"Oh no I am not getting the chickenpox." Trina said, backing herself away from Alexis.

The next day Andre, Beck, Jade, Robbie, Cat, and Rex with Sikowitz in his vehicle came to pick both Trina and I up.

"Hey Tori, where's your bags?"

"I can't come."

"First you got all of us to come with you to Yerba, and now you're ditching the trip?" Jade said till they saw Alexis with chickenpox trying not to scratch herself.

"Yes Alexis caught chickenpox at her daycare. Happy Jade?"

"Oh. I should have known that."

"So you can't come?" Andre said.

"Sadly I can't Alexis needs me, and if I went I would get really worried about Alexis." I told them as I put on an ointment on Alexis to stop her from scratching since they are a safe distance from Alexis so that they couldn't catch her chickenpox..

"At least you guys try to have fun at Yerba." I requested them.

"Guess we will see you when we get back."

"Get better soon Alexis."

They finally left for the airport on their way to Yerba while I stayed behind to take care of Alexis.

At night I was giving Alexis a oatmeal bath that is said to get rid of chickenpox. She looked at me upset.

"Mommy I'm sorry that I ruined your vacation."

"Oh sweetheart, it's not your fault. You got really sick, and I didn't want to get worried about you while I was in Yerba. I tell you, when you get better and your chickenpox is gone I'll take you to Mystic Mountain." I told her while putting soap on her hair.

"You promise?"

"Yep."

After a few days later Alexis fully recovered from the chickenpox, and looks completely healthy like her normal self. So while I don't know what's going on at Yerba I kept my promise, and we both went to Mystic Mountain for some mommy daughter time that we had a lot of fun.

The next day they all came back.

"Hey, how was Yerba?" I asked while feeding Alexis her lunch.

"I need to get my hair washed. I can't use prison shampoo."

"Huh?" I was completely confused about what Trina said as Andre, Jade, Beck, Cat, Robbie, and Rex came into the house.

"Did something happen at Yerba? Trina just came in saying something about prison shampoo."

"Boy Vega you just dodged a bullet thanks to Alexis's chickenpox."

"What do you mean?"

"Well it all started like this. When we arrived at Yerba we found out that it was in the middle of a war, the hotel we stayed at was terrible, Andre got bit by a vampire moth that caused him to get a swelling lump on his neck. A guy gets dragged away by Yerbian soldiers who broke into the girl's bedroom, and Jade slept with a dead lizard. When we perform Trina accidentally hit the chancellor's eye with a shoe flying off her foot getting her arrested and sentenced for four years, we tried to get her out which nearly succeeded, but Robbie accidentally killed the chancellor's pet squid getting the rest of us put in prison, but thanks to Sikowitz in disguise as a Yerbian guard we concocted a plan to escape by performing for all of Yerba with the prisoners then we successfully escaped from Yerba."

"Wow I'm very sorry that I put you all through that."

"Don't blame yourself or Alexis for not coming to Yerba. You just got lucky."

"So what did you and Alexis do?"

"Well other than giving her oatmeal baths she felt really bad for making me miss Yerba despite not knowing what happened to you guys so I told her that it wasn't her fault, and promised to take her to Mystic Mountain after she gets better and her chickenpox are gone so I kept my promise, and took her after she fully recovered."

"At least she is still better." Beck said as I continued to feed Alexis.
