The silence wasn't too bad but it wasn't good either. Was it awkward? Yes; to a certain extent. Deep down they didn't want to sleep. They didn't want this night to end. They didn't want to waste time they could be using to know about each other. Both of them wanted to talk but they waited for the other to start. Second turned into minutes, minutes turned into longer, and more minutes; they were soo tired but they both stood stubborn against tiredness. They wanted to talk, they were going to talk.

“I can't sleep.” Asami broke.

“Oh thank god you spoke, Ivereallybeenwantingtotalkwithyou but-*GASP* but I didn't want to keep you up.

Asami giggled, giving Korra a second to catch her breath. “I was waiting for you to say something.” Asami started. “Absolutely not, I was built to kill spiders, cut wood, and lift heavy fucking weight, not to start a conversation with a gorgeous woman.” Asami giggled.

“But you could’ve literally said anything and we could of have started a conversation a long time ago.” Asami stated. Korra turned to the green eyed woman with a puzzled look on her face. “What part of being a useless lesbian do you not understand? Because I'll gladly teach you what that is.” Asami laughed at the term. “For fuck sake salami.” Korra flusterly groaned. Asami laughed at the blue eyed woman’s frustration.

“Well since we wasted a lot of time already, what should we talk about?” Asami started. “We can talk about anything, food, traumas, drama we remember from the kindergarten playground. The list goes on.” Korra jokes. “You choose. I'll be down to talk about anything.” Korra encouraged. “Okay let's talk about kinks.” Asami provoked. “Not that, definitely not that, ANYTHING BUT that.” Korra corrected. Asami laughed at how Korra's cheeks burned. Korra blushed with a smile on her face but she hid her face by staring at the ceiling. “How bout what happened tonight.” Asami suggested.

“Well a lot has happened tonight so where do we start?” The blue eyed woman started. “If you're comfortable, how about we start at the beginning of the night, which ended in a fight.” Asami responded. “Very well, first off, I love that short stack of green pancakes you referred to as your best friend. I truly adore him; he's a beautiful being. Hmmm Oh, not really a fan of the red toothpick I interacted with earlier.” Asami burst out laughing. “ But I mean, I was expecting it..” The blue eyed woman paused and gave Asami a serious look, then looked back at the ceiling. “I'm not a fan of clowns.” Korra finished. Asami laughed.

“Ummm, Oh that hit to my side hurt like a bitch.” Korra scoffed. “Oh yea, do you want me to check it out?” Korra looks at Asami with a grin on her face. “You sound a little too eager to see me without a shirt.” Asami blushed. “Shut up, I'm just trying to help you out, you did defend me after all. I just thought healing you would make up for it.” Asami countered.
