Mackenzie's POV

As soon as I wake up, I allow myself to have some time alone, turning on the TV for today's Celebrity Gossip.

Even though it's in Japanese.

But as soon as the pictures of Harry and a blonde girl; Nadine, I think, flash on, I drop the remote, gaping at the screen.

Damn it! The hell is wrong with you, Styles?

I throw the sheets off and put on slippers and a baggy sweater, storming out of my room. In the lounge, Harry and Louis are both watching the news.

"What is the meaning of this!?" I yell, startling both of them.

They look at me, then at each other, then at me again. Something is definitely going on.

"I decide to take a nap for two hours, and in-between that certain time, you," I point at Harry. "Get caught with slutty Nadine!? The hell, Harry!? What is wrong with you?"

He gets up and moves towards me, trying to envelope me in a hug. I stretch out my hands and push him away.

"Explain!" I growl.

"Look, Mack -"

"Don't be all lovey-dovey with me!" I shout, making Louis jump. "Explain to me why the fuck you were with that bitch! You told me you're over her, and now I see you two on a date together? She was even holding you're hand!"

"Mackenzie," he sighs. "Look, I'll clear this up, I promise! Things just got out of hand and -"

"And Nadine didn't get out of your hands?" I interrupt. "Did she?"

Harry sighs and glances at Louis. Louis answers with a shrug, turning his attention back to the television.

"Harry!" I whine. "Please, you know I love you! So, please don't take advantage of my feelings for you!"

"I'm not." he sighs, his arm looping around my waist. "I just went to meet her to hear out whatever she wanted to say."

"And what she did want?"

Why did I ask him that? I just know it's gonna be something I don't wanna hear.

"She wants me back." he admits.

Tears gather in my eyes and I sniff, gathering all my strength into saying one sentence before I burst into tears.

"Please don't leave me, Harry!" I cry. "I l-love y-you so much!"

He envelopes me in a tight embrace as I weep into his chest. He whispers soothing words in my ear as I sob nonstop.

"I love you too, Mack." he mumbles. "And I'm not going to leave you! I promise, I won't."

As Harry carries me back to bed and tucks me in, I grasp his hand, pleading him to stay next to me.

"Babe, you need to get some sleep." he mumbles, kissing my forehead.

"Harry." I whisper. "Please don't leave me alone."

"I won't, baby girl!" he responds. "I'm right next to you!"

"But you -"

"Yes, I know I left you!" he cuts me off. "But I won't leave you this time, I promise."

"Will you lay down next to me?" I question. "Please? I need your warmth in order to go to sleep."

"Mack, of course!"

And that's what he does. He climbs into bed next to me, wrapping my body in his arms. His warmth makes me feel at ease. It makes me feel wanted; loved.

"Happy now, love?"

I nod and sniff his shirt. Don't judge me, OK? I just like his scent, it's really ... manly, I guess.

"Hazza." I mutter. "Are you going to clear up that rumour?"

"You mean Nadine and I?" he asks.

"Yeah. Will you?"

"Of course I will! Why would I want people to think I'm dating someone like her?"

I stifle a giggle. "Harry, be serious for once! People will really think you're two timing if you don't clear up that rumour."

"I know, it's why I will. First thing tomorrow!" he muffles. "We have an interview, so we're gonna clear everything up."

I smile at the fact that Harry really wants to be with me. He doesn't want to let me down, it's why I trust him.

But I really hope he won't let me down. He's the only one I have left. My mom and dad haven't bothered to communicate with me after what happened.

Who cares? I certainly don't, they were cruel and vicious to me, what's the point of forgiving people like them?

My phone started to ring just then. Harry handed my phone to me, and when I read the name, I was horrified.

No, no, no, no!!!

"What's wrong?" Harry asks, obviously having seen my reaction to the name I just read.

"It's my mom." I utter.

His eyes widen as I look down at the caller ID once again. I pick up the call and put it to my ear.

"Mackenzie," she says. "I need to talk to you."

Why is today such an unlucky day for me?
