Harry's POV
"Come on, come on!" the man growls as he tries to help me up. "Let's get you to a hospital."
"No!" I yell, pushing him aside. "I have to find Mackenzie!"
"Sir!" a man stumbles into the building, holding a female's body.
Her familiar brown streaks flow over her shoulders. Even with bruises, scars and her eyes shut tightly, she looks beautiful.
"Ma ..." I groan, collapsing back on to the floor.
"Ma ... kenzie ..."
Darkness overtakes my vision. It's all a big, black blur.
Then, my dream unfolds. I'm sitting on beautiful green grass. The wind blowing overhead, the trees providing shade.
The sun shines brightly as the rays blind me, making me look away.
I'm on a hill, to be exact.
At the bottom, I see a lovely girl, lying down on the grass, picking petals off a flower. She wears a long, white dress with a flower crown on her head. I see her wiggling her feet, showing that she's barefoot.
From a distance, I can faintly make out what she is muttering.
"He loves me, he loves me not, he loves me ..."
She's chanting those words that girls usually do when picking at flowers. I don't understand how that tells if a guy likes them or not.
I'm pretty sure I know who that girl is. I walk forward, stopping in front of her.
"He loves me," she giggles as she plucks the final petal of the flower.
I smile at her and extend my hand, which she happily takes, getting up.
"How are you today, love?" I ask, planting a kiss on her knuckles.
"Magnificent would be a total understatement," she sighs, gazing down at the ground. "That, and a humongous lie!"
She glances at me and starts to smile brightly. "But now, you're here, so ..."
With that, she throws her arms around my neck and hugs me tightly. "I'm really happy!"
We step away from each other as we both lay down atop the soft grass.
I put my arms behind my head as she puts them on top of her stomach.
"Is this what you call 'Heaven'?" I blurt, making her look at me.
"No," she replies. "I don't think this is Heaven, but ..."
She shifts her hand towards my arm. I smile, and pull my left hand from behind my head and take her's in my own.
"This might just be our little escape from the real world."
"No troubles, no worries," she adds. "Just us."
"Do you really want to be like this, forever?" I question.
"That depends, do you?"
That's a really tough question. I mean, do I really? It's an escape from all our problems, we're all alone here, no one judging us, telling us what to do. But ... is this really all I want? What we want?
I quickly get up and look into the distance. Mackenzie stands up as well, grasping my hand.
"It's all so beautiful," I reply. "But this isn't what I want!"
I turn around and grab her waist, as she slings her arms around my neck.
"What do you want then? Money, riches?"
