Rearranging

Pigsy sighed as he lay in bed, their bed had been scooted over, and the crib was put together. The light red, and golden trimmed blankets and bumpers were put into place. Pigsy sighed as he lay the baby down. He sighed as he looked down at the swaddled baby. The blanket was just a normal bright blue and green stripes.

"Good job, Dad..." Tang said as he put his cap onto his hair. Pigsy turned to chuckle, giving him a soft smile.

"You too, Baba." It really felt great to be called that.

Putting a bottle with just water down next to the table with the can of formula. It will be a long night.

~Shuffle, Shuffle.~

Tang's eyes opened and he looked around. He spotted the infant kicking and huffing. He turned on the low lamp and padded as quietly as he could to the bottle. Mix it and then put it into the warmer. Picking up Xiaotian and sighing.

"Alright, let's get you changed." He whispered laying him down on his side of the bed and pulled off the already shuffled up swaddle and sighed. The baby's outfit that used to just be his shirt had been discarded and replaced by a small sleeper that looked like an alien monkey.

Once he was free of his diaper Xiaotian didn't like it too much. His bottom lip quivered, and he began to cry. Pigsy sat up and looked around.

"Tang the kid is crying." He snorted and looked around realizing that Tang was already awake and changing the baby.

"Yes, I know. He was fussing over his blanket and it woke me up. So I figured I'd need to change and feed him." Tang yawned. Pigsy leaned forward kissing the infant's forehead. A small hand puppet over Pigsy's hand. It looked like a tiny kitten. Its head had a bead in it.

"Awww don't cry Xiaotian." He tried to make a cute noise, but a harsh whisper just came out. It caused Tang to smile. At least he was trying to entertain him while he finished changing the diaper.

"What's daddy got? Is that a kitty?" The little boy's fingers wrapped around the tiny stuffed kitties head. He didn't grab it, or pull it. He didn't have those motor skills yet, But he did open and close his fingers around the stuffed kitties ear.

"There we go...all done." He snapped the button back up and he swaddled the infant once again. It was still much too cold to let him go around without a blanket.

"Baba's getting the hang of being a daddy already." Pigsy nuzzled Tang as he picked up the bottle and took the baby from his partner's arms and sat down in the chair. Tang couldn't help but watch from over the chair. Pigsy looked up at him. The loving eyes as he watched the two.

"It's almost like you were built to be a father, Pigsy." Tang kissed his cheek.

Pigsy put the boy onto his shoulder and patted his back. The burp that escaped the boy's lungs almost seemed far more manly than his tiny body should have allowed.

Tang laughed behind his hand trying not to wake the boy that curled into Pigsy's heartbeat.

"Alright...let's put him back to bed and go back to sleep. Tomorrow we have to have him checked out at the doctor's office."
