"Daph, give me back my phone please." Mahina kong pagmamakaawa.
She's teasing me by not giving me back my phone.
Damn, her pictures are there. That phone must be protected at all cost or I'll be giving our family a heart attack if they knew that I'm in love with the unica hija of Nong Adie's family.
"Why? May tinatago ka ba? Siguro naka hide 'yung convo niyo ng chics mo dito 'no? 'No?!" Tinakpan ko ang isa kong tenga gamit ang isa kong kamay at ang isa naman ay para abutin ang phone ko mula sa kanya.
"Tapos may pictures din kayo 'no? 'No?!" Argh!
"Come on. I have nothing to hide. I just don't want other people to see what's in my phone because it's my privacy." Paliwanag ko.
To my surprise, her face became serious and walked towards me then gave me my phone.
Walang imik siyang nilagpasan ako at nag lakad paakyat.
Nakasunod lang ang mga mata ko sa kanya hanggang sa hindi ko na siya natanaw.
Bumuga ako ng hangin saka napasabunot ng buhok.

I was walking towards the door when Fin came, holding his bag on his shoulder and holding his towel, which probably came from his training.
He's actually near graduating. Tatlong taon lang naman ang pagitan namin.
"Kuya." He greeted me when he saw me.
"Training?" I asked.

"Up for a training. Three days sa Batangas." Sabi niya sa akin.
Ninong Adie will most likely let Fin go but Ninang Airene? Uhm, I'm not sure. She's too protective and worried.
"Good luck with Ninang Airene, then." Then we both chuckled.
Nagusap lang kami saglit saka siya nagpaalam na aakyat na siya para maglinis.
I stayed in the living room for a few minutes when Ninang Airene and Ninong Adie arrived.
I hugged both of them. Hindi ako pinag-mamano ni Ninong Adie habang lumalaki dahil para sa kanya, nakakatanda daw.
Agad na naghanda si Ninang Airene ng makakain. As always.
"Harvey, can you please call the twins so we can eat?" Sabi ni Ninang Airene.
Agad naman akong tumango saka umakyat para tawagin ang kambal.
Magnus isn't here. He's out for a project again. This time, sa bahay naman ng kaklase noya sila nagkita kita.
I knocked at the door three times.
Bumukas ito at si Daph ang nagbukas. They are not having the same room anymore.
Simula nang maging basketball player si Fin nung first year college niya, naghiwalay na sila ng kwarto.
"What?" She plainly uttered.
Why is she even upset?
"Miryenda time. Your parents are there already." I said to her.
She rolled her eyes. "I know. Daddy went here already." She said then walked out from the room, bumping my shoulder on purpose.
