I took a leave for three days but it turned to be one week because of Daddy.
This morning, I just read Bible and prayed. It feels relaxing to rest like this maybe because I was really stressed and frustrated these past few days.
I plan to visit Celene with Daphne tomorrow.
Today, I'll rest.
Bumaba ako to check them downstairs. Sabado ngayon and mamaya may dinner so for sure, they are planning what to cook.
I wanted to help.
I saw Kaleigh, Elias together with Mommy at the kitchen.
What are they doing there? Hindi naman sila mahilig magluto.
Lumapit ako sa kanila at perehong inalbayan si Kaleigh at Mommy dahil magkatabi sila.
"Kaleigh's cooking." Kunwaring gulat kong sambit.
Sumimangot si Kaleigh kaya natawa ako.
"She said she wanted to help in cooking. She said na gusto ka daw niya ipagluto," she also pointed Elias. "Pati itong kapatid mo pang isa." Aniya habang nakangiting tinignan si Elias.
I smiled with that. "Thanks. Kuya appreciates it." I said then kissed Kaleigh and Mommy's temple saka nilapitan si Elias at inakbayan siya.
This is such a small thing but it is big to my heart. I don't want to dwell on the rought situation. Maayos naman 'to.
Dahil sa ayaw nila akong tulungan sila, I just watched them cooking. This is just for lunch. Mag luluto din daw silang dalawa mamaya for dinner.
"No, baby, you should put butter first bago 'yung mantika." Pangaral ni Mommy kay Elias. Natawa naman kami dahil sa ginawa niya.
Nakangiwi niyang tinignan ang ginagawa ni Mommy saka ulit siya nagluto nang malaman na ang gagawin.
Si Kaleigh naman ay nagluluto ng Bistek Tagalog habang si Mommy ay nag be-bake.
It was fun to see them having an interest in cooking today. Wala kasi talagang hilig 'tong dalawa sa pagluluto.
"Is this right, Kuya?" Kaleigh asked whole combining the soy sauce, calamnsi juice and ground black peper in a bowl.
I smiled at her. "Yes, princess." I said.
She continued what she's doing I'm just watching the three of them cooking.
"Kal, maybe you should fry first half of the onions bago mo i-pan fry 'yung beef." I said to her dahil mukhang binabalak na niyang i-pan fry agad 'yung beef.
She looked at me and nod a little.
She did what I said and it seems she was satisfied with the outcome.
It's quarter to 12 when they finished cooking. Hindi din nila ako hinayaan mag prepare sa table. Silang dalawa talaga ang kumilos.
Sakto naman na nagaayos sila nang dumating si Daddy.
"Kayong dalawa?" Hindi niya makapaniwang tanong nang malaman niyang silang dalawa ang nag luto.
Kaleigh was pouting when she hugged Daddy. Daddy laughed and just hugged back Kaleigh.
"Nakaka sakit ka ng feelings, Dad." Madramang sambit ni Elias kay Daddy.
Nailing na lang kami ni Mommy nang umacting ito na para bang naiiyak.
