Edward's face was filled with happiness, hope, and joy. "The machine is at full power," Alberto said while checking his tablet.

"Let's fire it up," Edward said.

"Hang on Justin." Dr Ratchet said.

"What do you mean to hang on?" Edward inquired. Dr Ratchet looked at Alberto and Sarah who were yawning and said, "We all need a proper night's rest." Edward would say, "Okay. Fine, let's all go home."

Calabasas, CA

Kylie's Mansion

Edward walked inside, he found Kylie sleeping peacefully on the couch and he went over to her. Edward picked her up bridal style, Kylie smiled a little cause she recognized the hands she was in and it felt good.

Master bedroom

Edward placed Kylie gently on the bed, covered her with the sheets and he went inside the bathroom. Edward took a shower, and after a few long minutes he came out in a grey sweatshirt and sweatpants. Edward took out his phone, he looked at a picture of his mother and he sat on the bed.

The next day

Back at Phoenix

Level 100

Dr Ratchet came inside sipping his coffee and he couldn't believe his eyes who was standing near the Speedster suit. "Rachel Hunter. What are you doing here?" Dr Ratchet inquired.

Rachel turned her back and said, "I came here to help you against my husband." Dr Ratchet's eyes widened in disbelief.

Thirty minutes later

Edward came inside he found Sarah, Alberto an Dr Ratchet standing together and he said, "Yo!"

"Edward we have something to tell you." Dr Ratchet said. 

"Okay. What is it?" Edward inquired, the three moved out of the way and he saw Rachel.

"Mrs. Hunter what do you want?" Edward asked in a stern voice that the wife of his current foe was standing beside his friends.

"To help you stop my husband." Rachel replied.

Edward's eyes widened in bafflement after what she just said.

"Why... Why would we believe that you suddenly wanna help us?" Edward inquired very taken aback.

"You would have to trust me. If you want to save the multiverse." Rachel said.

 Alberto gave him a shocked look and he asked, "What do you mean save the multiverse?"

"Joseph and I wanted to open a trans-dimensional portal exposing the infinite dimensions in the multiverse..." Rachel replied and Dr Ratchet continued her sentence, "You wanted to bring those Earths here so that it would be easy to go to them without rupturing the inter-dimensional barrier."

"Yes." Rachel replied.

"But why?" Sarah inquired.

 Rachel let out a sigh and she replied, "We wanted to use those other Earths' resources to make our world the strongest."

"So wait, you guys wanted to steal those other Earths' resources to make our world superior?" Alberto asked.

"Precisely Mr. Rodriguez." Rachel replied.

"Something must have changed your opinion. What happened?" Edward asked.

 Rachel gulped a bit and said, "At first I started to ignore Joseph's violent tendencies but as time went by they became even more heinous and gruesome."
