Edward's V.O

My name is Edward Justin and I am The Speedster. Well at least I was now I am back to being old Edward just... Powerless.

A week had already passed since Edward gave his speed up in exchange for Lauren's life.

Kylie's Mansion

Master bedroom

Edward walked inside the bathroom, he looked at himself on the mirror and he just scoffed. Edward walked out of the bathroom, he found Kylie packing some clothes and Kylie said, "Come help me."

"You know I could have done this really fast when I still...." Edward said but he paused for a while. Kylie looked at Edward and said, "It's okay you can say it." "When I still had my powers." Edward continued.

"Do you regret your decision?" Kylie asked. Edward smiled and said, "No, no, no I don't regret my decision." Kylie went over to Edward, she wrapped her arms around his neck and said, "That's why you need this break." Edward nodded and said, "You're right Ms Jones." Kylie gave Edward a peck on the cheek and she said, "C'mon let's pack."

Pocket Dimension

Speed Demon's lair

Joseph looked at a live feed of Edward and Kylie packing, Rachel walked inside holding a tray with two small cups and she asked, "Tea?"

"Yes." Joseph replied and Rachel poured on both cups. Joseph looked at Rachel and he asked, "Why do you think he hasn't went to Phoenix?"

"I don't know." Rachel replied. Joseph would say, "It's so frustrating."

"Isn't this what you wanted?" Rachel asked a bit bewildered and Joseph replied, "Its just that he brought excitement to our little game." Rachel sipped her cup of tea and she said, "Sounds like you admire him." Joseph looked back at the live feed and he said, "I'll be back." Joseph sped off.

The Phoenix Foundation Of Justice, Headquarters

Level 100

Alberto and Sarah were working on something, and she inquired, "So Edward lost his speed protecting Lauren?" Alberto nodded and he said, "Yeah."

"Look who I found." Dr Ratchet said as he walked in with Edward not too far behind. Sarah and Edward hugged and she said, "I'm sorry I wasn't here."

"It's cool." Edward said. Dr Ratchet looked at Alberto and he said, "Right let's get to work." Edward nodded and said, "I just came to tell you guys that I might be outta town for a while."

"Why? Shouldn't we be focusing on stopping Hunter?" Alberto asked. Edward rubbed his face and said, "I know but I really need a change of scenery to try and think."

"It's okay Ed we understand." Dr Ratchet said and Edward walked out of the room leaving the three.

Outside

A black Chevrolet Suburban was outside, Edward climbed inside and Kylie asked, "Wanna talk about it?" Edward shook his head in disapproval and Kylie said, "Driver we're ready to leave." The driver nodded and the car drove off.

Two hours later

Woods

The car stopped near a lake, both Edward and Kylie exited and Edward saw a huge cabin with a J letter on top. Kylie sniffed and she said, "I've missed the smell of nature." Edward smirked and he said, "Let's go."
