You hear the the front door slam shut. You stand there, shocked by what just happened. The sound of Niki's footsteps stops you from getting lost in thought. "What was that about?" Niki asks while standing in your doorway with a mug filled with what you only could assume is tea. "Nothing. He just had to go to his car." You could tell Niki didn't believe a word that just came out of your mouth. "Okay fine. Dont tell me. I dont care anyway." You scoff. "I'll tell you later okay. Right now, need to finish packing. Can you help me?" Niki raises an eyebrow, unimpressed. "Please?" You ask, pouting. "Okay fine. You know I cant win against your doe eyes." You sigh in relief. "Thank you. You're a life saver. Do you by chance know what to pack for a camping trip?" Niki sighs and makes her way to your closet. "You're lucky I love you."
After you say goodbye to Niki, you make your way out the door and to the elevator. You press the button and wait for the doors to open. Your hand unconsciously moves to your chin. Your thumb brushes against you bottom lip. You're still trying to take in the fact that Dream just kissed you in your own room. On your own bed. The doors open. You step in and press the ground floor button.
He kissed me. He actually kissed me. Never in a million years did I think that he would kiss me. It was amazing. He was amazing. His hands. His breath. His lips.

Why didn't he do it sooner? Why didn't I? What was I waiting for? Why did he leave like that? Did I do something wrong? It has been a while since I've kissed anyone. Oh god I hope that's not the case. That would be embarrassing. I hope I didn't do anything to upset him.

You start to pace back and forth in the small space provided in the elevator. Questions keep popping up in your head. You go over everything that happened since you both left the elevator not even an hour ago. Nerves start to build up as you get closer to the ground floor, not sure what's about to happen between the two of you when you reach the car. You don't know what you're going to say or how to even handle a situation like this.

The doors open. You suck in a breath in and you make your way through the lobby, past the front desk, and out the door. The wind has picked up a little so you zip up Dream's oversized jacket and start the walk to his car. Once you turn the corner, you can see Dream standing on the passenger side of the car, arms crossed, waiting patiently. "You didn't have to wait outside. Its cold Dream." He presses a button on his keychain and the trunk opens. Dream takes your bag and opens the passenger door for you. "I know. I just needed some fresh air." You climb into the car and Dream shuts the door once you're settled.
You can feel the car move as Dream puts your bag in the trunk. Then again when he closes it. Once Dream enters the car and puts the keys in the ignition, you say, "Did I do something wrong? I feel like it was my fault that you left like that." Dream pauses, hand still on the keys. "What?" He turns to look at you. "Bailey, You didn't do anything wrong. Its me who should apologize. I shouldn't have kissed you like that. It was selfish and uncalled for. I'm sor- what are you-" Before he could finish his apology, your lips crash onto his, pulling him closer to you. Hearing Dream say that hes the one who should be apologizing made you want to kiss him even more. Hes always so considerate of other people's feelings. Always putting others before himself. You dont think what he did was selfish or uncalled for. You enjoyed it. Hell, you want him to kiss you more often.
You can hear him gasp and feel him tense up. After a few seconds, he relaxes and kissed you back. Its like a breath of fresh air. Finally being able to kiss the one person you've wanted all this time. To be able to have your hands tangled in his hair like they are now. Dream's hand caresses your cheek. You gently tug his hair in your fists. Dream sucks in air and starts to move his lips lower. His kisses travels to your cheek, across your jaw, and down your neck. Your face is burning. You dont need a mirror to know how flustered you must look right now. Your breath is coming out in labored huffs as Dream kisses and sucks on your neck. You gasp when you feel his hand move under the hem of your shirt, tracing circles on your skin.
