Jacob POV

I just got back from a pack meeting and was walking on the beach, when I found something small, black, and white laying in the sand. When I got closer look it looked like a girl. And then the smell was familiar, but who. Bella! I took off in a full on Sprint towards the figure. I dropped to my knees, and pushed her hair back from her face, she was paper white, and her lips were a light blue, like Frost on a car window. I check for a pulse but got nothing. I proceeded with CPR, and eventually getting pulse, but to weak.

I picked Bella up bridal style and took off in a Sprint for my vehicle, laying Bella in the back seat, and took off for the hospital. When I finally got there I grabbed Bella and ran inside. "Help! Somebody, she needs attention now! SOMEBODY HELP!" I grew in full panicked, and raced over to a gurney, playing Bella on it lightly. A middle aged male doctor came racing down the hall when he saw Bella, nurse right on his heels, being ordered to page in Dr.Cullen.

Carlisle POV

The family and I all sat in the living room, pondering over all things that have just occurred, when my hospital pager went off. I ignored it, placing it on the table next to me, it kept beeping, so I checked it. The call came in. "Eighteen year old female just brought in. Hypothermia, and possibly severe pneumonia, needs attention stat." I looked at the pager shocked, there is no way that is Bella in the hospital. I looked at the family, and they all had the same look on their face. My pager went off again. "Paging Dr. Cullen. Eighteen year old female just brought in. Hypothermia, and possibly severe pneumonia, needs attention stat."

Everything seemed to finally kick in my mind, and I was out the door in a flash in my car, as well as Esme and Edward. The others took their car. Once we got there, the family sat in the waiting room, and I took off for the E.R. right next door. The family will be able to hear everything.

"Dr. Cullen. Bella Swan, eighteen years old just brought in, hypothermia, and possibly severe pneumonia." The nurse spoke quickly, and I pushed through everybody in the room. When I got to the bed I was at a loss of words.

There she lay. In the crisp white sheets, fragile and as pale and I, her lips still tinted blue, and her breaths slow and shallow.

I pet Bella's hair down and spoke gently, "Come on baby. Stay with daddy. I'm gonna do all I can do. Don't let go, again. Hang in their darling. Daddy loves you!" The other doctors and nurses heard me, and had awe, love and confusion written all over their faces. I took Bella wrist in my hand, and checked her pulse. It's steady for now, but extremely weak. I shooed everyone out, and got to work at vampire speed, keeping a nurse out side the door if needed.

While working I noticed her breaths getting slower, and heart rate slowing. "No, no, no. You're not leaving daddy again. Stay with me!" I spoke firmly to Bella. I proceeded to do what needed to be down. But her breathing and pulse wasn't picking up.

Her pulse suddenly stopped and everything felt like  slow motion movie. "KATIE! SHE'S GONE INTO CARTIAC ARREST! GET IN HERE, AND BRING DR. SWALL." I was panicked now.

I tore Bella's shirt open and attacked the defibrillator, "Come on, please. Come back baby girl! I love you! Come back to daddy!" While I was working and the nurse got the doctor and entered I finally got a pulse after three shocks. "That's it. Stay where you are. Be strong from daddy. You'll get better and we'll take you home." I smiled sadly as venom tears leaked down my cheeks, and pet Bella's hair. I put her on a breathing tube, hoping it would help to strengthen her breathing and then hopefully her pulse as well.

I walked out to the waiting room, and saw everybody with tears running down their cheeks. I sighed and pulled Esme up into my arms, and spoke. "She's okay for now, but if her pulse doesn't strengthen..." I paused. "Ill change her myself, because I will not live, knowing, my daughter isn't with us any longer." I spoke the last couple of sentences quietly so no doctors or nurses got suspicious. "She's on a breathing tube at the moment, and I patched her gun wound. It just nipped her shoulder, nothing serious, thankfully." I smiled a little at that.

I heard breathing pick up in the other room, and raced for Bella. When I got in there she was chocking on the tube, she's starting to breath on her own, but her pulse hasn't picked up. I removed the tube, and instead put an oxygen mask on her. I checked Bella over again, and found her right collarbone broken, and her left ankle shattered, but nothing to severe other than her pulse.

I was getting ready to bring the family in, when I heard her heart stop again. "Oh, no you don't! Come on Bella! Come on!" I grabbed the defibrillator again, and proceeded to get my daughter's pulse back. I have no other choice, she's gonna have to be changed. Now.

I got her pulse up, and whispered to her, "I'm so sorry, baby girl. Daddy's gotta change you, now. Hang in there darling, please. Then you can be with us forever. I love you." I pet her hair, and kissed her cheek, her forehead, and then her nose.

3... 2... 1.

In one swift movement I moved her hair from her neck, and bite as quickly as possible, pushing as much venom as I could into her, as I cried venom tears.

One second her pulse is going, the next... you know the venom is working. I stayed over night with Bella, reminding her about her human life, but of only certain things she needed, like us, her singing, her friends, and anything else needed. I pet her hair the entire time, this always seemed to calm not only Bella but I as well. Knowing my daughter is right next to me, and in arms reach I panicked less, with each minute, knowing the venom is working, and knowing she will be with us forever.

Just one bite, made everything seem better.
