Hello Everyone!!!
I have been an avid reader of Wattpad fanfiction for a couple of years now. My lazy self finally got around to creating an account, and this is my first contribution! Thank you in advance to anyone who decides to give their valuable time and read it :)
I know Author's Notes can be dreadfully tedious, but I just have a few requests/disclaimers I wanted to get out there before you begin:
#1 -- I do not condone discrimination or hate towards ANY demographic -- race, sex, gender, religion, etc. Please don't be disrespectful if you leave comments! Let's spread respect and tolerance instead!
#2 -- To any die-hard Greek Mythology buffs, I took MANY an artistic liberty in my portrayal of these characters, locations, and events. This is not a "Mythologically Accurate" retelling hehe.
#3 -- I apologize ahead of time to any fans of Zeus and/or Apollo. Not being a fan myself, my portrayal of these two may not be the most flattering you've read (I also welcome lighthearted bashing of them as well :D)
#4 -- Feedback is appreciated! I do not plan on making any significant edits, as this story has existed as is for quite some time in my brain, but please feel free to share what you liked or disliked, and why!
#5 -- Last, but certainly not least, if you haven't already, please go check out HueVang's "Persephone" animatic on YouTube! This very video is what sparked my passion for this fandom, inspiring me to write poetry, which in turn led to this story. It is a true work of art, and showed younger me that this tale can in fact be about personal growth and healthy relationships.
