Fourth Chapter :D and guess what?! It's still unedited -_- so just point out mistakes and I'll do what I can. Please comment and vote :) <3 Sorry the update was later than expected but I worked a lot on the plot of the book. :) Thanks for reading. Enjoy. I also am in desperate need of a cover. I want something colorful and vibrant with lots of creativity. I'll dedicate a chapter, fan, and vote and comment on your story of choice, if you make me a cover that I choose. Thanks a lot <3 :)

My feet pounded on the floor under me, but they were next to silent. The halls were wide enough for two people to walk hand in hand, but the way I was rushing about there may not have been that much room for passing people. For some reason no one did pass me, just me skipping along the empty halls.
I gave up on running in heels, because every few giant steps I would trip. My ankles twisted around and I stepped on my feet with my own feet. I stumbled a few feet while taking them off. I ran down the halls and through new rooms, ignoring the looks I received from people I don’t know. I was thrilled and nervous at the same time. The warm floor cushioned the balls of my feet on the different surfaces.
Passing a door I heard someone say Landen. I skidded to a stop and whipped around. Maybe this was the Landen I was looking for. Giving myself a second to catch my breath and calm down, I put my heels back on. I felt the need to look as presentable as possible.
You're getting colder. A voice taunted me. Your' body will be just as freezing very soon.
I shuddered, but tried to stand up straighter. Why is it you think your' lies will bother me? I thought you were more experienced than that.
Just as I finished the sentence, the walls began to shake and all conversation flat lined. I guess we all have disappointments now don't we? I quickly added before blocking him from my mind.
Then the conversations continued, I think people would rather pretend nothing is wrong then question things. Like why the house was just shaking uncontrollably.
I was about to go through to the next room, when Blake swung around the corner. His face was a weird shade of white and he continued to sprint until he saw me.
Blake froze and gave me a look that I had never gotten before. His face looked tight and partially angry. My eyes narrowed and I stretched my fingers out, they had been clenched around my heels but now they were free. I knew what he meant. He was daring me. I spun into the room, trying to decide if I should make a scene or be decrete.
I decided not to bring too much attention since no one knew who I was and I was looking to get information, not to make friends.
“Come on Landy.” A women around 20 hung over a man. Her hands rolled down his arm and she stood on her tip toes to get face to face with him. He looked similar to Blake, but not as strong and with tanner skin. He face was much more nonchalant than Blake’s too.
“No Carmen. I said I’m not interested.” He shook her off and I took this as my chance. Walsing up behind him I tapped his shoulder, just as Blake came in.
The people in the room with us looked back and froth from me to Blake, not being able to decide who to focus on.
“Landy is it?” I asked with a smirk. He smiled and cleared his throat. I heard the women whisper about me being a bitch while leaving.
“It’s Landen, but you can call me what you like.” He stepped closer.
“Landen, don’t you dare talk to her!” Blake was screaming. I still didn’t understand why he was so angry. This was turning into a scene, if it wasn’t already. Everyone was staring at us and didn’t reactions spread through the crowd of people.

Paranormal"Why do you keep running?" The voice was deep and short of breath. He must have been running to chase me. "Why do you keep coming after me?" I asked. I was lying on the ground on my side, staring at the man before me. He lay the same way I did, loo...
