Prologue

(A/N: This takes place as the S-Class heroes are arriving at the meeting called by Sitch preceding Boros's invasion with the Dark Matter Thieves.)

"Where the hell are we?" a confused and agitated Metal Bat asked as he looked around the blank white room that he and the rest of the S-Class had been suddenly teleported into.

"Unclear, this area seems to have no accessible points of entry or exit. Yet we're here nonetheless," the robotic voice of Metal Knight's battle unit stated without a hint of concern in its voice.

"How is that possible?" Child Emperor asked, looking around the room for a sign of any possible escape methods. "If there's no way to get in here, then how was the majority of Class-S suddenly summoned to this specific room?"

"Who cares, this whole thing is a waste of time," Tatsumaki said indignantly. "I've had enough of my time wasted already, and now we're gonna have to delay the S-Class meeting even further."

"Calm down Tornado, I'm sure that whatever the Association needs to speak with us about can wait until after we've gotten out of the situation at hand," Silver Fang said in an attempt to calm down the irate esper.

"I agree with Bang, right now we should focus on escape. Once we've succeeded, whatever threat is currently at hand, the heroes of S-Class combined with the power of Master Saitama should be more than enough to take care of it," Genos stated calmly. "Wait, where is Master Saitama?"

"I'n not sure, the three of us came to the meeting together, so he should be here as well," Bang replied, looking around for the bald hero that had accompanied them. "Whatever the case, I'm sure he'll be more than capable of dealing with any threat he might be facing for the time being."

"If he did get attacked then it serves him right. I don't know why you two even entertained the idea of letting that B-Class Baldy sit in on such an important meeting."

"I asked Master Saitama to accompany us because, given the urgency of the situation, the power he possesses will ensure our victory when facing whatever threat the Hero Association has called us in for."

"You sure do put a lot of faith into this Saitama guy Genos," Atomic Samurai commented as he sipped a cup of tea. "I won't question your reasoning, but I will say that it's odd you would feel a B-Class's presence would be necessary in this situation."

Genos got a look on his face as if someone had insulted something more important to him than even his pride, and he opened his mouth to respond but was quickly cut off by a disembodied voice.

"Oh how wrong you are Atomic," the voice said, shocking several of the S-Class as they sprang to attention in an attempt to find the source of the voice.

"Who are you, and what have you done with my master?" Genos more demanded than asked, incineration canon at the ready as he looked around the room for who had spoken.

"Are you some sort of monster, or a human who holds a grudge against us heroes?" Watchdog Man asked calmly, still seated in his typical canine position.

"I am not a monster, nor do I plan on harming you heroes. In fact, I brought you here with the intent of opening your eyes to a hero with unparalleled power, power that's gone mostly undetected despite his numerous heroic deeds."

"And what of my master?" Genos asked, still as alert as ever.

"He's fine, as are the rest of those in your world. I simply brought you here to open your eyes, and once my work is finished you will return to your previous locations with everyone else none the wiser. Yes, including your master Saitama, Genos."

"Whatever, just show us this hero you're gushing over," Tatsumaki said impatiently, despite secretly being intrigued at the possibility that there might be someone to rival her in strength. "Some us still have a meeting to get to."

"Just be patient, you'll understand why this is so important in due time," the voice stated as a large television screen suddenly appeared in the void of a room. Without a further word from their mysterious captor, the tv sprang to life and began to play what seemed to be some sort of anime.
