Arabella pov
It has been a month since the cops and robbers incident. Since then, Sabo and I became closer than before. We shared more secrets with each other, and more memories of our respected siblings. Since I had shared that with Sabo, I for once felt listened and acknowledged. I never spoke a word of my feelings if I am at home - that if just something we never do. Sabo and I have even gone on a couple more dates together - we even did a double date with Ace and Itami.
"Seriously Bells, when are you two gonna get together!!! I'm dying over here!!" Kora whines.
"Arabella likes to do things properly. She's pretty old school." Kira chuckles.
"Nothing wrong with it of course." Itami grins, "I think this is great."
I smile, "I am thoroughly enjoying my times with Sabo. It is all so exciting."
"Plus I had never seen Sabo smile so much in a long time." Koala adds, "He seems genuinely happy."
Upon hearing that comment, the blood in my system rose to my cheeks and tinted them pink. As the girls giggled I averted my eyes from them, hiding my eyes behind my bangs.
'I am happy at the pace we are going at. I do feel like I trust Sabo.'
"Speaking of which..." Itami smirks, "I hear a ball is coming up." She nudges me, "You should totally take Sabo! That would be so cute!"
Kira gasps, "Y'all would be adorable together! Please go together, I swear to all that is mighty you should go. Plus you have all of your gowns from social events with your family."
"Those ones are quite...how do you say this, old fashioned? They remind me of those English aristocrat dresses, and I particularly do not like their style. Plus the colours do not mix well for me." I say.
"Yeah, don't get me started on that teal monstrosity your Mother bought for you...that was just not a vibe." Itami snickers, "We can always go find one later, anyway. I'm sure there are ones out there that'll suit."

"I think I'm gonna ask Arabella to the ball."
Both Ace and Marco turn their attention towards me. Ace grins and clapped my shoulder, followed by Marco chuckling.
"Sounds like it's going really well then! You still got feelings for her?" Ace questioned.
"If anything...it just feels like I have more feelings towards her than I did before." I confirm, "It feels like I know her way better than what I did before."
"I think you should just go for it at this point, yoi." Marco states, "You obviously like her, yoi."
"Yeah...I'm trying to ease her into dating. She's never dated before." I explain.
"Yeah but like, hasn't it been long enough for waiting, yoi? You don't wanna wait for too long, otherwise you might just stay within the friend zone, yoi. Plus, maybe she's waiting for you to make the first move, yoi." Marco says.
"I dunno...Arabella's a pretty forward girl. I think she would've mentioned something by now. I've been all for dating, but..." I shrug, "it's her final word. And I gotta respect it for now."
"Ya gotta give my brother some credit too, I think he's been pulling all of the moves in the book." Ace says, "I'd say just maybe give it a tiny bit more time and do a check in with her to see if the feelings still mutual. And if she does, great. If she doesn't, then bestie vibes only I guess."
