Arabella pov
"Huh? We lost Zoro." Sabo suddenly said.
I hum, "He left a long time ago."
"Oh what, why didn't you tell me?" Sabo sighed.
I shrug, "He muttered to me that he was fine and just went to find the gym. But he went the wrong way so, I'm not sure where he could be now."
Sabo sighs and muttered something about to never let Zoro wander off. I hobbled next to Sabo as he supported me towards the infirmary. Each time I took a step, I'd have to lean close to him and each time I could smell his natural scent. He smelt fresh, like herbs and ginseng and clean linen. It made me feel dazed and comfortable. Like I was in a cozy home. It distracted me from the twanging pain I could feel on my calf. Although Ace put on a makeshift bandage with a piece of rag, it was beginning to seep through.
'I like his scent.'
"Hello???" Sabo calls out as we enter a doorway, "Anyone around???"
The infirmary colour scheme was mint, grey and white. It was fairly large, considering that they probably have to deal with a lot of injuries from spars. The beds were lined up against the walls, curtain stands acting as dividers for privacy. At the front, left-hand side of the infirmary was a semi-circle shaped desk that had a computer behind it, cabinets full of medicines, a corkboard with notices and a filing system.
Sabo walked up to the desk and tapped on the bell to alert whoever was working. From the back of the infirmary, a door opened and revealed a tall and slim guy. He had dark hair with a goatee and yellow eyes that carried dark circles. He strode towards us, looking as if we interrupted something that was important.
"Oh, hey Law." Sabo greets.
The guy named Law smirked, "I'm surprised you didn't bring your brother this time, Sabo-ya."
Sabo shakes his head, "Not this time. However," he turns to me, "we have someone different this time."
Law turns his gaze to me, "You must be that Moonlight-ya girl I've been hearing so much about."
"This is Trafalgar Law. He's in our year group, but the Academy's infirmary team often ask him to assist as this kind of stuff is his calling." Sabo introduces.
I inclined my head, "A pleasure, I'm Arabella."
"Whitebeard was inducting her and the rest of the new girls. Arabella fought Roronoa and it ended in a draw." Sabo explains as I was lead to a spare bed.
Law slightly raised his eyebrows and hummed, "Huh, a draw with Roronoa-ya. Been a long time since I've heard of that." Law places a seat in front of the bed I sat on, "Lemme take a look." He gently grabbed my ankle and rested it on his knee. He tuts, "And who was the one that tied a shit bandage for you?"
"I believe it was Ace." I answer.
"Typical." He chuckled, "Put your leg on this seat, I'm gonna wash my hands."
I removed my foot and he got up to wash his hands, he momentarily came back and re-rested it back on his lap. Law easily pulled the loose rag off and placed it to the side. My eyes lingered on the medium-sized crimson spot before Sabo picked it up and put it in the bin.
Law picked up a bottle of wound disinfectant and poured some on a large cotton pad, "This could hurt."
He carefully placed the pad on my wound. The sharp gnawing paid intensified slightly, causing me to wince. I gripped the bed sheets under me, and I mentally thank Sabo for shooting me a worried gaze. After a couple of moments, Law removed the pad and replaced it with a bandage.
