"You're gonna have to tell her." You sigh and pat Aragorn on the back.

"How can I? She probably thinks I'm an idiot." He throws his head in his hands dramatically and you roll your eyes. Why did he always have to create fake assumptions?

"She does not think your an idiot because she doesn't know who you are." You try and comfort him.

Aragorn had been your lifelong friend, and he was like a brother to you. You had known each other since you were only two years old, and you had noticed he was always quite dramatic when it came to girls. The poor man couldn't woo a girl to save his life. The problem wasn't his appearance. In fact, he was an extremely good-looking guy, and women would want to converse with him often. The problem was his obsession with food. Most girls were trying to "lose weight" and "look snatched" and Aragorn never really understood that. He loved eating, talking about eating, and buying food for everyone. Every conversation he started had to do with food, and girls never really liked it, and here you were comforting him for the billionth time.

"You need to find a girl who loves food just as much as you do." Legolas chimed in. You turned to look at him and smirked.

"I think I know just the girl." You say and Aragorn quickly sits up.

"No. Absolutely not. I know who you're thinking of." He suddenly stood up.

"Why not? She's pretty and she likes food."

"I can't talk to her. I get too nervous."

"Oh, come on, Aragorn! You are such a chicken." You huff and push his head playfully.

"I like chicken, thank you very much." He does the same gesture to you.

"Anyways, you need to tell her you like her." You say, going back to your original statement.

"There is nothing that you could do to convince me to tell her anything." He crosses his arms, and you accept his challenge.

"I'll buy you french fries." You smirk, and a smile slowly starts to appear on his face.

"And will they be delivered to my house?" He always liked eating in the comfort of his own home instead of going out.

"Tonight, along with Legolas and I." You say, your smirk widening. You knew in that moment that he would give in.

"Fine. If you both show up at my house at 6:30 with burgers and fries, I will talk to Arwen."

"Consider it a deal." You smile and shake his hand.

"You better hold your end of the bargain." You say and narrow your eyes. You knew that if you glared at him scary enough, he would become frightened. So that's what you did.

"Ok, ok. I promise I will." He smiles and ruffles your hair.

"If you don't, I will personally make sure you end up in hell." You grin innocently and he rolls his eyes.
