Your POV

"Y/N... Y/N WAKE THE HELL UP!" To be followed by the alarm ringing.

I groaned and looked at the person who interrupted my sleep, then took a glance at the alarm that had been ringing uncontrollably. Annoyed, I stopped the alarm and began stretching my arms and limbs, trying to fully wake myself up.

My feet then dragged me towards the bathroom and I grabbed onto my toothbrush, putting some toothpaste on top of it. "Daichi, please shut the fuck up, respectfully," I glared as he sang an unfamiliar melody, "Ah! So grumpy early in the morning. What's with that frown, little sis? Aren't you excited for school?"

"Not one bit..." I mumbled, not loud enough for him to hear. I don't want to die during the first day of school. After I finished brushing my teeth, I then washed my face and fixed my hair, applying powder as well as lip gloss. With one last touch, I observed myself and left the bathroom to my older brother.

By the time I had reached the kitchen, Sugawara, mine and Daichi's friend, was already seated on his chair, eating breakfast. Dad was also sitting on his chair while drinking tea, with mom's back facing me as she focused on the stove, cooking pancakes. "Good morning, everyone," I greeted and they each nodded at me as a sign of acknowledgement.

I took the empty seat next to Sugawara as mom served me two pancakes. I silently thanked her and grabbed onto the syrup and butter, putting each of it on the pancakes. After I ate one piece, Daichi finally came down and joined us. "I can't believe how fast time flies! Our Y/N is starting her first year, and you two are already in your third," Mom chirps as she placed a plate full of pancakes on the table, sitting with us.

Both my brother and Sugawara chuckles, but nods in agreement, "Right. It's both our last year in the volleyball team, too. Hopefully we get a shot at going to the Nationals before we graduate," Daichi states, and Sugawara gives us hopeful smiles, to which I returned. Truth be told, I really do want them representing our school in the Championships. I thought, pride emitting from my insides.

It took only a couple minutes for us to finish our breakfast. After one last sip of my drink, I then stood up from my seat and grabbed my backpack, wearing the straps as Daichi jogged over to me, giving me my water bottle. "Thank you," I mumbled and he nods, giving me a small smile, "No worries. Mom! Dad! We'll be going now," Daichi exclaims. "Alright, be safe! We'll see you later." Mom replies.

With one last glance on them, I walked out of our house and began walking with the two lads. "Hey, I heard there's going to be loads of first year transferee, I hope some of them could join the team!" Sugawara strikes up a conversation, and Daichi followed through. Both of them began chatting while I plugged my earphones and began playing music.

After almost twenty minutes of walking, I finally got a glimpse of the school.

Karasuno High School

Once we entered the gate, shouts and heavy footsteps began getting near towards our direction. I lifted my head up and saw pairs of eyes. Geeh, guys... I thought while cringing at it. "Oh? And who might this beautiful young girl be?" The smallest of them asked, he was about my height, a few centimeters smaller. He had these blonde strands on the middle of his spiked hair.

I saw the way my brother's posture changed, his muscles went stiff and his eyes stared down at the small dude, as if blasting him with hot beams. Before things got physical, Sugawara put a hand on Daichi's back with a hard thump, and he immediately gains his senses. "Right, uhh- thi-this is Y/N, she's my little sis," He said before looking at me to continue.
