i think that OWL's are designed to kill the students. like genuinely.
i hate this.
with owls coming up, lily has been forcing all of us to study with her, and i think my brains gonna explode or melt. whatever means I physically don't think I can take in any more information.
and with all this studying I haven't been able to work on my music, which i mean its not like i have any ideas, but still id like to pretend and force myself to think of some music even if i get nothing accomplished.
currently i was in, you guessed it people, the library.
"do you reckon lily is trying to read every book in the library?" i whispered to marlene, whos snorted.
"nah, she already has" we both giggled silently. I groaned loudly and slumped in my seat.
"lils i'm so bored" I whined, "can't we like, I don't know, sneak out to hodsmead?" even the notion made lily glare at me. rude.
but thankfully my saviors came in, aka the marauders.
"oh thank god, I was going insane. please tell me you have something fun planned" i ran up to the four.
james smirked, "now snow, what makes you think that us angels have anything planned" i raised an eyebrow an gave them all a skeptical look.
"okay you got us, wanna go to hogsmead?" sirius asked.
"the fuck, I literally just asked lily to go down with me, that's weird," I said with a weirded out look.
"almost like the author didn't know what to make this chapter about" peter said quietly.
"what?" remus asked, and peter just shrugged. weird little rat man.
"annywayyyys, you ready to go?"
"I've been ready prongs, lets go" I grabbed my stuff and said goodbye to marlene and lily, who gave me a disapproving look that I ignored.
the sneaking out part was surprisingly easy. well it's easy if you have a magic map telling you where everyone is every minute of every day, but you know, schematics.
"I'm really craving a butterbeer right now, ooh and I wanna get some new quills" i spoke, mostly to myself because none of the boys where listening. I looked into my book bag and grabbed the little bag of money, opening it to see only a couple sickles in there. welp there goes my plan. i could pay for a butterbeer, that's it.
"so where to first?" james asked. I gnawed at my lip and smiled.
"butterbeer for sure" we walked into the three broom sticks and madam rosmerta gave us a disappointed look but didn't say anything.
"hello rosmerta" sirius said with a smirk, she responded by raising an eyebrow and turning away, making all of us giggle.
she did bring us all butterbear, and i payed for myself, using the only money i have like an idiot.
"so whats our game plan?" james asked seriously, i giggled again.
"dude were not playing quidditch prongs, but im game for whatever" nobody reacted to my pun. bitches.
"you said you needed new quills, right?" remus asked me sweetly. i thought about it, looking over quickly at my now empty money bag.
"uh i don't think so actually, no" if he noticed my lie, he didnt say anything.
"okay than honeydukes? we can stop pile chocolate and those sugar quills." sirius suggested, the chocolate was for moony and I, and the thought made me smile.
"sounds like a plan!" peter said. after we finished out butterbear we all headed to honeydukes. the store wasn't packed, of course, and we all said hi to the owner before separating to get our respected candies. i just kinda lingered around, looking at the new display of stuff, from foaming fizzes to literal rock candy. which i didn't really think was good for your teeth.
the boys got their stuff and we headed out. "did you not get anything mak?" james asked. I scrunched my nose.
"honestly candy has not sounded appetizing, my teeth were hurting just being in there" lie
james gave me a look but didn't say anything. we continued to go around hogsmead, kinda just messing around the entire time, seeing as the other stores (besides the quidditch store) weren't what we wanted to go into.
by the time we got back in, it was time for dinner, so after the boys dropped their stuff off, we all went into the great hall.
"hey lils, you missed out on great fun today" i teased with a grin. her disappointed look said enough, but i just giggled at her and sat next to marlene.
"and you missed vital studying time"
i groaned and slammed my head on the table before grabbing some mashed potatoes and taking a bite, "thats no fun lils" i said with a mouthful of food.
"ew come on thats disgusting" lily said, but she had a small smile on her face. I giggled before swallowing. suddenly i felt eyes on me and i looked up, seeing reggie at the slytherin table.
i gave him a smile, that he returned, before he turned back to severus. i miss reg, maybe i should have him meet me tonight in the kitchen again.
the rest of dinner went by smoothly, and before i knew it i was in my dorm with lily, marlene, and alice, all just talking and laughing.
"do you guys think we're all gonna still be friends after hogwarts?" i asked suddenly.
marlene gave me a 'wtf' look. "uhm of course? as if you could get rid of us easily" i laughed loudly and nodded.
"yea its really a shame" i joked, which caused lily to hit me with a pillow. that of course prompted a pillow fight.
by the time we where done, we were laying down on the floor all out of breath and still giggling. earlier i had let reg know i was gonna go to the kitchens after everyone went to bed, and that he was free to join me.
after the laughter died down alice sat up, "okay well i'll be going to bed, night guys"
"me too" lily murmured, and marlene groaned but followed suit.
it only took like ten minutes before everyone but me was asleep. i smiled at the three, before going to meet up with reg.
DONT HATE ME IM SO SORRY ILY GUYS I DIDN'T MEAN TO JUST LEAVE YOU AHHHHH. okay anyways im sorry for the long hiatus and the shitty chapter but i actually have motivation to write so yay. i love every one of you.
