Chapter 20

An: 'tis currently 2:30 AM and I have school tomorrow but screw it. Enjoy :)

Ugggh why do teachers give us so much homework during Easter break?

That was literally all we did during that time, was study and do homework. Which I mean, I get because finals are soon.

I was in the library, again, but this time I forced all the boys to come too, so basically the Marauders plus Tyler and even Frank came(only because Alice was there), along with Lily, Marlene, and me obviously.

It was basically a study group.

I should mention that it's the day before the full moon, and I was in immense pain and also had crappy mood swings.

We where there for about half an hour when Tyler started packing up to leave.

"Hey uh, I gotta talk to McGonagoll about the homework, I'll uh see you later" Tyler left abruptly making me blink slightly before shrugging and going back to quizzing Lily on different potion ingredients.

After we left the library, against my will mind you, it was dinner so we all went down there, and I ate a plate of mash potatoes and gravy, and to most it wasn't a big deal, but to me I was A) feeling kinda sick but most importantly B) so damn proud of myself.

"So. I was thinking that sense the school years almost over" Peter said(which was weird sense he initiated the convo, "we should all spend a day in our dorm with food and stuff tomorrow. Sense it's Saturday, like a sleepover"

Everyone looked at Peter in shock, "that's a fantastic idea" Remus said. Tyler chose that time to walk up to us with a weird look.

"What's a fantastic idea?" He asked while sitting next to me.

"Peter suggested we do a whole day of all of us hanging out in the boys dorm tomorrow" I said while sipping some water.

"Don't we already spend all day together?" Tyler said with a weird tone of voice. Lily and Remus exchanged eyebrow raises and I scoffed.

"Uh yea, but still. If you think it's such a bad idea then you don't have to come" I said snappily. He just shrugged and took a bite of chicken, which made me crinkle my nose.

"Okay. I'll just use that time to catch up on some homework" I looked at Marlene with a look that said 'The audacity of this bitch'.

"Fine whatever. Hey Remus we have to go do that thing. Remember?" I said vaguely. In reality we have to get ready for the full moon tonight, I was just so pissed and petty. I know, not very mature, but he was being low key an asshole.

"Uh yea. Let's go?" Remus questioned with furrowed eyebrows.

"What thing?" Tyler asked, finally getting rid of that weird tone and instead sounding jealous.

"Oh you know, catching up on homework" I smiled sweetly and kissed his cheek before leaving with Remus.

"You know, you're really petty" Remus said airily. I scoffed and rolled my eyes. Honestly at this point I'm surprised my eyes haven't rolled into the back of my head.

"Yea well hes acting strange" I furrowed my eyebrow.

Remus looked thoughtful for a second, "yea I kinda noticed that too. Anyways, let's just get this over with" Remus murmured.

"Yea" I said back equally as depressed sounding. Honestly fuck everything.

Okay imma spare you guys the details of the full moon, not much happened in all honesty, I didn't get a scratch on my face yet, which is fun.

The next day Remus and I stayed in the hospital wing for the day, I had broken my arm and Remus had broken his leg, so we were pretty banged up.

The other three had gotten minor scratches and bruises.

Apparently remus and I got in a fight while we where in the woods and yea. Here we are now.

Course the girls visited but they only thought that we fell cuz we're "clumsy af" like what the hell how rude am I right?

"I mean they aren't wrong" Sirius had said, which like fuck you too dude.

Tyler visited for a second, but weirdly wouldn't look me in the eye and left quickly, which honestly made me really sad and suspicious.

Reg said through our bracelets that he hoped I got better soon, which was a nice thought. I should really talk to him more honestly.

The next day( a Saturday thankfull) I decided to spend most of the day catching up on homework that I missed the previous day, and study more for exams.

I walked into the library and found a comfy spot in the back where no body goes, and it was peaceful till I started hearing noises coming from one of the shelves.

Now I immediately recognized the noises and would normally ignore them and leave but it was annoying like use a broom closet and leave the studyerz alone. God.

So naturally like the Gryffindor I am(omfg I'm so annoying like stfu MAKAYLA) I walked through the shelves until I found the two people.

And, well.

It was Tyler and some slytherin. Snogging. Well more like trying to eat each others faces. Like bro CHILLLEEEEEE.

Oh did I mention the slytherin was a bloke? Like I don't care love who you love(obviously I don't care).

"Huh. This explains so much" I said in realization, causing him to turn quickly and have his eyes go wide.

"Oh my Merlin Makayla. I'm sorry I -" I raised an eyebrow and started laughing slightly.

"Tyler I really don't care, I'm glad you found someone who you can happily eat faces with, I don't care who with. I'm more sad that you didn't think you could tell me" I smiled slightly. Tyler immediately slumped his shoulders and gave me a timid smile.

"I'm really sorry. I should have broke up with you or told you or" he cut himself off with a sad look, and I hugged him tightly.

"Look we're friends before anything, so I'm serious, love who you want to. You do you boo" I joked while punching his shoulder slightly.

In all honesty it hurt to get cheated on but I want him happy more then anything, and if this slytherin makes him happy then I don't care.

"I love you Makayla, as a friend" he added on at the end and I smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Love you too ty, now I let you get back to your 'date'" I put air quotes on date and added a wink.

I walked away with only one tear slipping through that I brushed away.

:( anyways enjoy I guess idk. I'm sorry really but happy Halloween to those who celebrate that and have a good day to those who dont(actually to both but you know what I mean)
