Veronica let out a small laugh as her eyes rescanned his reply, it'd been about a week since the Southsiders transferred to Riverdale High, she and Mike had been speaking on a regular basis ever since, through text that was,

Though she'd gotten, Archie to stop overreacting about her friendship with Mike, she knew he still strongly disliked it, and so she made sure to avoid, Mike at school, it's not that she wanted to she just didn't want to fight with her best friend again, 

She sighed setting her phone down, she'd have to answer his question eventually, she couldn't keep him waiting for long but she was afraid he'd want to cut off all ties with her once she declined, she'd only known him for three weeks, yet whenever they were around each other it was as if they'd been in each other's lives forever, she didn't want anyone to get hurt but she had to make a decision, Archie's feelings, or Mike's?

"You ok?" she heard breaking her from her train of thought, she looked up to see, Archie walking into her bedroom, holding two mugs of hot chocolate, 

"Yeah, I'm fine," she nodded, thanking him quickly as he handed her one of the mugs, getting under the covers next to her, resting his head on her shoulder as he focused on a random show she'd put on as background noise while she got some things done,
