"What did she say about the tattoo?" I ask, feeling a small smile creep up on my lips at the sound of his hysterical laughter, it feels like forever since I've heard him laugh,

"Well, I can't say she was too happy, but she understands how things work in here, she's just glad I'm not alone you know," he says,

"Never in my life would I have thought that you and Mike would be the dynamic duo but here we are," I tease,

"Oh, Fuck off," he says making my laughter intensify,

"Come on, he's not so bad," I say,

"Love is blind is it not?" he teases,

"If it wasn't, I would've gotten rid of you a long time ago," I say,

"I don't deserve you," he sighs,

"You don't," I reply honestly,

"I'm glad I have you though,"

"You should be,"

"Now you're just getting cocky,"

"I take after you,"

"Fuck you," he laughs with me,

"You have twenty seconds," the automated voice informs me,

"I'll call you tomorrow," he says,

"Be careful, I love you," I say,

"You be careful too, and I love you more," he says, before the line goes dead, I inhale deeply, tossing the phone onto the couch beside me as I rise from the cushions, and walk towards the dinner table which sits a few feet away, I drape my arms around Dalton's shoulder's peeking at the screen he's staring at though only he seems to understand what we're looking at,

"Did you find something?" I ask,

"I did, and you're not going to like it," he says, I can tell he's trying to keep calm, but he's not doing the best job at it,

"What is it?" Caleb asks rising from his seat, he walks towards us slowly, swaying gently so Issy doesn't wake up from the nap she's taking in his arms,

"So I hacked into the club's security cameras and I found the footage of Archie and Mike assaulting Nick, their faces aren't visible per se but Mike's hand tattoo is clearly seen, so he's placed at the scene of the crime, and there's a split second at the very end as they're speeding away where you can kind of see Archie, this alone wouldn't necessarily be enough to sentence them but, it could be grounds for a trial to be called," he explains,

"Ok, so, they were unfairly sentenced because one of them is brown and the other is an accomplice," Carter says,

"That's the thing, they were charged with attempted murder and Mike is seen pointing a gun at Nick, but they didn't get a trial, a judge didn't review this footage, it wasn't shown to a jury," he says,

"Why not?" Natasha asks,

"Because no one ever asked for it, Nick was very specific about the location, it's detailed in the report, they could've easily asked for a warrant but they didn't, they were charged within five hours of being arrested, that's unheard of," Dalton stresses, before he turns back to his computer opening up a different tab,
