"I fixed up the bed," Tabitha whispers as she retakes her seat at my feet, my head rests in Jug's lap as he smooths down my hair and dries the occasional silent tear that slips from my bloodshot eyes, 

"You should get some rest," he voices as he stands up slowly laying my head down on the empty stop on the couch slowly before he attempts to pick me up but I recoil away in protest, 

"I'm fine here," I croak out softly, 

"Ok, call us if you need anything," he whispers leaning down to kiss my forehead as Tabitha covers my quivering figure with a blanket, she too kisses my forehead before taking Jug's hand,

"Goodnight, Love," she calls back as they head towards his bedroom, leaving me alone in the freezing darkness my racing thoughts being my only companion, my phone buzzes every once in a while but I don't bother checking it until the repetition of my ringtone makes my temples feel as if they're about to burst, I finally reach out grabbing my phone and sigh at all the notifications,
