Shadow Keeper(1)
[T-then I will leave everyone to take care of it. Hee-hee]
The dokkaebi disappeared with an electric crack. His last words echoed around the room.
A food penalty and a survival penalty. The food penalty was bad enough, but for the people here who had been taken advantage of by Cheon Inho, they had a low chance of survival.
I shook my head, feeling nothing for them. It was their choice to be hand-held down this path. Now they were too weak to stand up for themselves.
Jung Heewon had a grim face as she stared at the area where her granola had dematerialized in front of her.
"Ha-Neul-ssi...Dokja-ssi...did you know that something like this would happen?"
Dokja nodded his head, arms crossed with a calm look on his face, "Of course we expected. Dokkaebi are rather cruel and-"
"-and they're little shits who only know how to harass humans and stream our suffering." I interrupted bitterly as Gilyoung came over to me, snuggling into my stomach. I wrapped my hands around his shoulders, squeezing him once.
Dokja rolled his eyes, calling the others over. Since the scenario had now been set up, it was now time to act.
Kim Namwoon rolled his eyes as he gazed across the station filled with despairing people. "What? They're just going to stay on their asses and not try to find a way out of this situation?" He asked. I looked over, surprised that the military otaku had finally started speaking again.
I cleared my throat, talking in a stern voice, "First of all, language, there's a child here. Second of all, what do you expect from a bunch of people that have been hand-held from the start?" I responded, snorting.
Namwoon looked at me with surprise in his eyes. He was probably surprised that I would even talk to him, considering he had stabbed me in the shoulder.

[Would you like to [view] database?]
[Yes] [No]
Surprised, I reviewed the system messages.
Maxed out? All of a sudden, I was struck with a sudden realization. Not only had I read the original Ways of Survival, but I had also read Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. I probably understood these characters better than they understood themselves.
I clicked [No], there wasn't enough time.

Ah, I had forgotten about that. From the corner of my eyes, the floating blue circle dinged, a smaller red circle appearing on its side. I clicked on it, curious to find what was going on.
[Kim Dokja: Inactive, Yoo Jonghyuk: Inactive, Yoo Sangah: Inactive ... [Database]...]
Ahh...how interesting.
Clicked out of [Companions], turning my attention back to Dokja. That would have to remain for another time.
Suddenly I was met with another system message.
