I felt my body become heavier as I felt myself smack into the water below us and the river water entered my lungs. Then, I felt myself being sucked into somewhere. Luckily I haven't been torn apart just yet, I had fallen with perfect timing. However, I could feel myself grow tired in a sense.

I couldn't fall unconscious here.

I had to stay awake, after all, we would need to wait here for a while.

I forced myself to curl up and hold my breath. 10 seconds...20 seconds...30 seconds...I was barely breathing until I felt hit a tangible wall in the darkness.

"Urgh-uk...uwak-" I coughed out. I could barely breathe as I forced myself to cough out the river water in my lungs. Out of nowhere, a pale pink light formed in the middle of nowhere.

Mary Sue was back.

"My Lady!" She cried out, pink eyes tearing up as she ran towards me, gold and pink mermaid tail turning back into legs.

I closed my eyes in disbelief before opening them back. "Mary..?"

"My Lady!" She cried, walking towards me.

"Wait! Wait!" I called out, turning my head and closing my eyes. "D-do you still have my h-hoodie?"

"Yes..?"

"Put it on. Quickly."

"...Okay."

Thank the Lord for small mercies.

I looked around my body as she walked towards me. No bruises or cuts. My high stamina had saved me once more but now the bandages wrapped around my body were wet and the blood was seeping through.

Damn Yoo Jonghyuk and his nonsensical strength. My bag was wet but the things inside should still be dry. I looked around for Dokja and found him lying face down...oh lord I don't want to know.

I dragged him towards the 'wall' I had found and flipped him over. He started coughing and blinking his eyes and I took the chance to look around. I felt bile rise in my throat.

The huge 'walls' were concrete with by-products floating around. The stomach of an ichthyosaurus was much more disgusting than I had previously thought.

"Ugh, fucking disgusting," I muttered. I remembered Jonghyuk's expression as he watched us fall.

To think that I wanted to be companions with a psycho like him. But if we wanted to be companions with him, then we had to be able to solve a situation like this alone.

Finally, Dokja woke up. I led him towards a floating piece of concrete I had found and got on top of it. We stood up, scanning our surroundings as Mary Sue took his as her que to latch onto my arm once more. Thanks to the warmth of the stomach, we weren't cold but the temperature would be the very least of our problems from now on.

I closed my eyes, playing the message log in my ear.
