Would You Be Mine Again

~Eight~

It's been 2 weeks since I last heard from my mum. And Rowan had already left my apartment. He was busy with school and family issues. I had already woken up, i just laid down there thinking of what to do. I picked up my phone to call mum,I immediately dialed her number.
"Heyy,baby"
"Good morning mum",I replied excited to hear her voice.
"How is it going there with you?"
"It's fine mum I just missed you so I decided to call you"
"That's so sweet of you honey,sorry I've not been able to call. I've been quite busy".
"It's okay mum,I understand. Say hi to dad".
"Okay honey. Bye". And it ended. I wasn't hungry,I had classes till afternoon today. I was already stressed out, school was making sure to stress the hell outta me. I checked the time and it was already 9:40am,I had just few minutes to prepare for school. I raced to the bathroom and took a cool bath,dressed up and made my way to school.
I had 3 classes today, literature, history and English. I hated history class because of how boring it was. I was already sitting down waiting for Drena. Speaking of Drena,she doesn't come to school late. I texted her immediately.
'Is everything fine,your not yet in school. Should I come see you?'.
The literature teacher,Mr Bradley got in the class. It was so boring not having my best friend in school. I hoped for the class to finished asap. Drena still hadn't replied me,wtf was wrong now.
Mr Bradley was out of class now,I just sat there waiting for the next teacher to walk in, when I heard a voice talking to me. I turned around and saw a boy standing behind me.
"Heyy, what's with the long face dear"he asked
"It's nothing. I'm fyn". He had a very long brown hair,that had a spiky look. He was cute though,but not compared to Rowan, I mean my boyfriend.
"I'm Stevenson,Steve for short" he said giving me a proud smile.
"I'm Nelly" I stretched out my hand to shake him. "I've never seen you in this class before?",I asked curiosly.
"Yeah,that's right, we'll just happen to be in the same English class together this year"
"Ohhh,I see" I said.
"Good day class", Mrs White greeted as she walked in to the class. The class went by so fast and I was glad because I had Rowan all over my head the whole time,I thought of how we made out at my place and how sweet and caring he was, but then I thought of Drena again and my mind raced. I had no plans of attending history class. So immediately Mrs White left the class,I packed my stuffs so I could leave.
"Are u already leaving?". Steve asked
"Yes,I am. Got something to attend to".
"Okay,see you next time". Steve was very nice and had a nice sense of humor. Guess I now have a new friend. I left the class,and drove my car straight to Drena's place. Immediately I got there I rang the doorbell,I heard footsteps coming towards the door. It was Drena. She looked so tired,like she had an hangover. Her hair was messy,she still had her PJ's on.
"What's with the look babe" I asked her stroking her hair and face.
"I'm fine. Just had an hangover. I was with Smith last night. We got drunk". She explained.
"I was scared as fuck".
"Hmm,so you care,huh?" She said while laughing. Of course I do she's my best friend. I helped her clean up herself and the house before her parents got back. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't told her about my relationship with Rowan. I immediately told her and gave her full details of what happened that night when he got to know I was a Virgin.
She playfully scolded me for not telling her earlier. We were both busy that I forgot about it. It was already evening,so I decided to have dinner at Drena's place together since I had nothing to eat when I get home. So I left immediately it got late.
