Would You Be Mine Again

~Fourteen~

I arrived home. I was really tired. I took a warm bath. It helped relieved me of stress. After I was done, I decided to call Drena to know if she's arrived safely. She was already with her family. We said our goodbyes and ended the conversation. I checked and replied all pending messages from social media. I slept off.

My alarm woke me up at exactly 8am. I didn't have anything serious to do today. I was still in bed when I started chatting with Travis. He wanted to see me today. It's the first time I'll be meeting with someone I met on social media. I wasn't scared because he was Rowan's friend. He sent me the location for us to meet up. I prepared myself. I wore a white crop top and a blue denim jeans with a pair of sneakers. I locked everywhere and drove to a coffee shop. He wanted us to meet up at a coffee shop. He wasn't even there yet so I called him. He was on his way. Few minutes later I saw someone who I assumed to be him. He wore a white shirt which showed his well structured abs,with black jean and a white can. He looked so masculine. He had a very broad chest. He was so handsome,he had a very long brown hair which spread backwards to his shoulder. He had some piercings on his ears and also some tattoos across his right hand. He caught a lot of female attention at the coffee shop. He walked towards my table.Our table.
"Heyy". He said waving me, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Hey,hi. Travis right,if I'm not mistaken".
"Yes. How are you Nelly". He said sitting down.
"I'm all good". We ordered for coffees. We drank while we talked about so many things.
"May I see your phone?". He asked
"Yes,sure". I handed over my phone to him. I didn't know what he was doing with it,until he asked me "You know Rowan?". So I guessed he was going through my pictures.
"Yes. He's my boyfriend".
"Are you fucking serious?He's my friend. Does that mean he broke up with Caitlin?". He asked.
"Excuse me. Caitlin?You mean Caitlin Scott?¹¹. Was he dating her. He hasn't told me anything about any Caitlin".I was confused.
"He was dating her,and I think he's still dating her". he told me.
"Ohh,okay". Was all I could say. I was very sad about this and confused too. Does this mean he has been cheating on me with Cait. Was that why he was with her at Jake's party?. Fuck. This can't be happening,not right now when I'm beginning to trust him. I texted Cait immediately. I didn't want to jump into conclusion again,so I had to confirm from Cait.

I texted her immediately. 'Can we meet at the coffee shop. The one very close to school'. She wanted us to hang out,so this'll be the perfect time.
I was no longer paying attention to whatever Travis was saying. I was thinking of my relationship.
"Excuse me please". He went outside to answer a phone call. He came back few minutes later. "I'll have to go now. I have something to attend to. We'll meet up next time". Glad he was already leaving,so I could meet with Cait.
I waited for Cait to come.

I sat down there thinking of what I'll say to Cait. I was nervous. I was scared. Has Rowan been lying to me all this while. Did Cait know I was in a relationship with him?. So many thoughts flooded into my head. Few moments later Cait arrived. I tried to act normal as possible. I'll have to find out the truth no matter what. Keep your cool Nelly, I told myself.
"Hi Cait. Good thing you came". I said forcing a smile on my already pale face.
"Yeah. I wasn't too busy,so I just came along". She said.

She got a cup of coffee while I just got water to cool my mind down cause of how nervous I was. I tried to act like nothing was wrong. We talked about several other things before I asked her about the main reason I called her. We were already like friends so it wouldn't be hard for her to tell me everything.
"What's your relationship life like Cait?". I said with the nicest voice and facial expression.
"Well,I'm just in one relationship right now. We met few months ago. He's been nice though. We've had couples of sex some few times and he's my first". She smiled and replied,she seemed proud about it. Sex?. And he's her first?. Right now I was scared as fuck. Could it be Rowan?.
"Wow, that's nice. What's he's name?". I asked her still putting on my fake smile.
"He's Row. For short,that's what I call him. But he's Rowan". She was still smiling.

What the fuck. Immediately she called his name,my glass of water fell out from my hand. "I'm so sorry". I said,a waiter came to clear the mess I made. My hunch was right. He's cheating on us. She doesn't even know he's also in a relationship.
"Is everything okay?". She asked.
"Ermm,yes.. I mean no. Rowan?". I brought out my phone for clear confirmation. I showed her a picture of Rowan and I. "Do you mean this Rowan?". I asked her. She was shocked.
"Yes,do you also know him?". Right now my eyes failed me. I couldn't hold it anymore. I felt the tears well up in my eyes.
"Cait,he's been lying to us. He's also dating me". I screamed out forgetting where I was.
"Do you mean he's your boyfriend?". She asked.
"Yes,he is. We've been together for more than 5 months". She was shocked as I was. She was furious as well. I wonder what she'll do.
"Thanks for letting me know,I'll be on my way now". I nodded and she left.
