Chapter 2: Explanation pt. 1

After some time, they all went back into the van and went back to school. "Can you tell me now, Suga?" "Fine. It all started when..."

Suga's phone suddenly rang and he looked at Daichi apologetically, "It's my Dad. I have to take this, sorry." He walked off the volleyball gym, leaving Daichi standing, curious as ever. "Kageyama, Hinata, Yamaguchi, Aashi, Tsukishima, mind an explanation?" "Can I say I do mind?" Tsukishima asked back sarcastically. "Tsukki, be nice!" "Yamaguchi, urusai." "Gomen, Tsukki!"

With Sugawara

"Yes, papa?" "Ah, Koushi. Grand Prix is coming up and you need extra training to catch up with Lev." Sugawara went silent for a while. Ice Castle is nowhere near Miyagi and neither is Tokyo. If he agreed to go, he might not be able to make it to Spring Nationals. "Gomenesai, papa. I cannot let down my teammates now that we already beat the strongest school in the Miyagi Prefecture. I'm sure Lev wouldn't either." "Okay! I'll tell Yuri and I'm sure he will understand. We'll watch you on the TV!" Victor cheered. "Thanks, Papa! Bye!" "Bye!"

Sugawara smiled as his Papa hung up. He missed them so much, especially Shiota, Tetsuya, and Lev. Lev didn't come for the match as he needed extra receive practice from Yaku, but he messaged him after discovering Karasuno won. Tetsuya was very busy with Winter Cup, but he managed to come along with Shiota and Norman. His parents watched his team on TV. Everyone was so busy but still have time for him. Sugawara was very grateful for his wonderful family. He put his phone away and walked back to the volleyball gym.

While with the others

"I'll explain!" Yachi raised her hand. "You know about this?" Nishinoya questioned. "Yes, Noya san."

Flashback to where Mafuyu Sato from Given was 16 (After the Given movie but not in the manga)

"Uenoyama kun, is it fine if my younger siblings come to practice? I might be a bit late though because my brother Shoyo has volleyball practice and I have to pick him up since no one is available." Mafuyu asked his boyfriend through his phone. "Sure, Kaji san and Haruki san said they would be late as well because they have to pick up their cousins. Where's Shoyo kun's school? I want to go with you."

"Yukigaoka Junior High. What's yours?" "Kitagawa Daiichi. Shall we pick up your brother first?" "Okay, see you in a few, Uenoyama kun!" "See you soon, Mafuyu."

"Nii san!" The tiny tangerine jumped up and hugged his brother, "is that Uenoyama nii?" "Hai, say hi, Shoyo." "Hi... YOU BETTER TREAT MY BROTHER GOOD OR I'LL BEAT YOU!!!" Uenoyama was a little shaken but nodded as response. "Did you brought milk for Natsu chan?" Shoyo asked as he handed their baby sister to the eldest brother as his school have a nursery (I made that up). "Of course, now get on the bus, we're going to get some meat buns for you after we get Uenoyama kun's brother." Shoyo nodded happily and got into the car.

There are two more boys with Uenoyama. "They're Tetsuro and Haru, both are 14, my brothers. Oi, say hi to Shoyo kun." "Hi..." they both said. After picking up the youngest Kageyama and buying him a carton of milk, they also bought some food for the others and meat buns for Shoyo and rushed to practice.
