The practice happened as usual, but Taemin knew something weird was in here, related to EXO members. Clearly, Kai stayed far away from Baekhyun, not clinging to his hyungs as he usually did. He decided to search for it. Luckily, they were given a break in the middle of the practice. Jongin stayed there, avoiding his EXO hyung. He knew Baekhyun was mad at him, even more - disappointed. Tears slowly appeared in his eyes, he turned his head away, didn't want to let the leader know about this.
Taemin viewed all of this, finally understood his problem. He walked to Kai, whispering something to his ears, then ran into Baekhyun, told the same. Then, he spoke loudly to everyone
"Kids. Practice ends here. Pack your things and go home."
The NCT members excited about this, hurrying getting stuff into their bags, then went away. Now in this room only EXO members and SHINee maknae. Taemin made a call to someone, then turned around
"Baekhyun hyung, Kai, I have an important thing to finish, so Im leaving. Remember to turn off everything before leaving."
In the room now was Baekhyun sitting on the choreographer chair and Kai, who was near the door. He turned and saw his hyung glancing at him, tears in his eyes.
"Hyung..." Jongin splattered, not sure what to say or where he should begin.
"Kim Jongin. Finally, I found you. We had been worrrying for you last night when leader-hyung told that you weren't at home. Especially Sehun, he loved you so much to hear such bad news. Do you know that?"
Kai stayed quiet. He didn't want to admit that. His mind at that moment was his hyungs didn't love him, he didn't even know that running away would make the problem more serious. This was all his fault. He was so selfish to think about himself more than his hyungs affection and caring. How stupid was he!
Baekhyun words really hit his feeling. His legs were like jello, he couldn't stand still anymore, fell until his knee touched the ground. He felt so guilty, how could he do that to everyone else. Jongin began to cry, his body was in the SuperM leader's bear hug. He rubbed his dongsaeng back, the other hand ran into Kai's hair, ruffling it as to comfort Kai.
When the dancer stopped crying was thirty minute later. He followed the singer downstair to the main entrance. They waited for a car to their dorm.

Kai was in the car, with Baekhyun and Xiumin. Three minute earlier, the vocalist called Suho to came up and took both of them home and the drove his private car to the building, opened the car and get all of his dongsaengs in. Baekhyun sat in the back of the car, next to Kai. He threw an arm over the second maknae shoulder, comforting him, Xiumin and Suho sat in the front.
As soon as the car arrived at the front gate of the tall apartment, Xiumin and Baekhyun got out of the car, after that was Suho and Kai. The second youngest stood between Baekhyun and Xiumin, his shoulder was covered by his hyungs' arm while the leader opened the door.
Chanyeol and Sehun stood up after hearing the door open, ran to hug Jongin before finding a seat on the second couch. Lay, Chen and Kyungsoo came downstair from their rooms and sat down on the third sofa, while the three olders from the front door came to the sofa next to the table. The view was exactly like what they used to do in the past - family meeting.
When EXO first debuted, they had family meetings every weekend to discuss the groups' activties that week. If someone had to be disciplined, they must all be present for it. Xiumin, Kris and Suho wanted it to be like that so that the members felt safe with each other, close, and most importantly, comfortable, especially when sometimes there was a fight in the group.
