From a butterfly to a butterfly, it was somehow hard to believe that two kids could be so love foolish. Falling in love at first sight, maybe love wasn't as dreamy as it seemed. After all, with the crap they've been through, the two ex-lovers will a...

"What are you thinking about?" Yena towers over my sitting body, my eyes flickering to her in the mirror. She tilts her head, a slight pout as she wore her ugly-ass face mask. She looks like a horror show. "You've been staring at your book report for the last hour. Usually, you'd be asleep by twelve, too. Are you doing okay, sweetie?"
"Yeah," I close my eyes briefly, inhaling as I lick my lips. Reopening my eyes, Yena still stands there, holding her hair back. "I'm doing fine."
"Lies, you usually say "get the fuck out of my face" or something in comparison to that," She shrugs, pulling her chair towards me as her hand slams against the back of my chair. Spinning me around, I widen my eyes, the girl watching me closely. "Is it that doctor of yours again, Yang Yihwa?"
"Perhaps, but I don't see why I feel the need to overthink it," I lean back, the girl sighing as I look back at her. "What?"
"You know, it would be funnier if this was a guessing game, but no, you're aggressively brutal with your words," She rolls her eyes, crisscrossing her legs. "Are you trying to feel nostalgia again? What exactly are you trying to remember?"
"I'm trying to remember... why I suddenly regret breaking up with Beomgyu."
"Oh shit, god—"
"No, Yena, shut up!" I exclaim, pausing. "Don't you dare cause a fuss. This doesn't mean I'm going back to him."
"You always sound like it," She grumbles, crossing her arms as well. "It might just be because Yeonjun is going to make advances on you again. He respects your boundaries—which I find hot in guys, but, um—also respects you, as a woman. Don't you see the difference between them!? What need is there to pick and choose which you want more?"
"Can't I just choose neither?" I groan, causing Yena to groan as well. "I don't feel like falling in love and wallowing in it. Yeonjun's a great guy! Yeah!, but... I don't find the need to date, someone, as independent as he is. I, too, am independent. Why do two independent people need to depend on one another?"
