OCTOBER

Dear friend of mine,

I think you committed the huge mistake to not give me one of those mirrors you gave all your friends. It's a bit unfair I have to write a letter because Terry and Aurora are in Hogwarts and your sisters scare the hell out of me to even ask about their mirrors. So, your punishment for this unfair treatment is read about my weeks so far now I'm back in England.

To begin with, I'm going insane. The first minute back here and I got mobbed by Ministry workers. Remus said it was because I went missing after threatening to burn the Ministry of Magic to the ground (which I don't regret because that's what FRIENDS do) but I think most of them wanted to touch me and see if I'm holy? I've been groped in places you have only groped before and I quite dislike the feeling of someone else's hands on me. Oops, that came out wrong.

Anyway, it's bullshit and I miss Argentina already. I can't even take the trash out because there are paparazzi camping outside Grimmauld Place. Kingsley reassured me the Fidelius was removed but I don't trust it at all. Sure, they can't get in but I want to go out! People haven't mastered the talent to mind their own fucking business.

I'm staying with Remus and Celia in the meantime. Celia insisted. And I'm sort of glad she did because I spent one night at Grimmauld and it was dreadful. Is it bad that I loathed that place so much when it was Sirius' ancestral home? It's ridiculous, I know. I should be grateful but it's hard to be there — Anyway. While I stay with them, I babysit Teddy. He has grown so much since the last time I saw him. He can even sit by himself now! (I've attached a photo of us Celia took with her camera, it's my favourite so far). I think he likes me more now because he hasn't puked on me that many times. I haven't mastered nappies. Yet. Don't know how Celia and Remus do it, though, the smell would have put Voldemort to sleep faster than destroying his Horcruxes.

Hermione and Ron won't be back until December but we've met for a pint in Hogsmeade twice already. We didn't talk about the fight but things are alright. Hermione's parents are fully recovered, thanks to Professor Spring (she is glad you pulled a few strings for her, by the way, expect a present along with the letter). Ron asked if I'm spending Christmas at the Burrow, they want me to and I honestly don't know what to do. Anyway, at least they liked the alfajores. Ron eats anything that sits nicely in front of him.

I saw Aurora and Ginny, too. The second time it was Hogsmaede weekend. Aurora was horribly civil, it was scary as fuck, please tell her she can go back to insult me because I think it pains her to call me by my name and not 'Grotesque Excuse of Human'. I don't like her and DON'T TELL HER but her insults are quite clever and ridiculous. Reckon Ginny has softened her up? Ron thinks so. Hermione disagrees. She is fooled by Aurora's cleverness that she is kind and cute and whatever, speaks so highly of her I wonder if there is a secret crush she hasn't realised. Would surprise me, nothing goes unnoticed by Hermione. But that's not the case. Ginny told me Mrs Weasley kind of disapproves of Aurora. She didn't say it out loud and maybe Ginny is exaggerating but she is sure her mother dislikes Aurora now they are dating. I doubt it's homophobia since Mrs Weasley had no issue with me and I don't want to get the wrong idea out of her.

I saw Terry, too. Though he seemed quite upset I haven't bought him anything (he thought you were hiding somewhere and it disappointed him you are still there). We didn't talk much, he had stuff to do with his sisters, who I didn't know existed? But that's unimportant. I found out something he did that may change your perspective of him. Apparently, Neville heard Terry sneaking someone out their dorm a few nights ago and a Slytherin tie was found on the floor. Luna has her theories Terry is back with Theodore, Padma bets on one of the girls and Neville is too perturbed to contribute but reaffirms it was a boy's voice. I'll leave the rest to you.
