I know that the chapter's name sounds pretty sad, but this chapter is more than just sadness. I assure you. Enjoy it. You've all been waiting a while...unless you are reading this later and I've already finished the story...then you didn't wait at all. I'm rambling now, so here it is!

Dipper woke up, feeling much more energized than the days before. He let out a long sigh and looked to his left where Mabel was still sleeping.
"Monday," he whispered. He stood up and stretched before proceeding to his drawer to find some clothes. He grabbed a pair of grey ripped jeans, a red t-shirt and a navy blue hoodie. The teen went into the bathroom and changed into his clothes. He observed himself in the mirror for a moment after changing. The bags beneath his eyes had lessened and he looked better than he had in a while. When Dipper stepped out of the bathroom he was greeted by a worried expression on Mabel's face.
"Dipper! What are you doing? Why are you up?" She asked in a concerned tone.
"I'm feeling a lot better. I decided that I should go back to school." He said, a smile on his face. Mabel eyed him for a moment, a deep frown on her face.
"Well...okay, but don't work too hard. You're just getting back into things. We don't want you frying your brain like bacon."
"Is bacon really the best analogy?"
"You know what I mean!"
"Yes, I do. That's why I'm messing with you dear sister." Dipper passed by his twin and allowed her to enter the bathroom. He went over to his dresser and looked at his hair stuff. He looked at it for a moment before putting it away and grabbing the pine tree hat he had taken from the shack. He placed it on his head, adjusting his hair to suit the way he wanted it to look. He smiled at his reflection before grabbing his bag and walking downstairs. Mabel joined him shortly, and the two ate breakfast together in silence.
"Oh! Look at the time! Come on Dipper, we're gonna miss our bus." Mabel squealed. The two tossed their bowls and ran outside. The bus was pulling up just as they ran out the door. They hopped onto the bus, the chatter seeming to die down slightly as they noticed Dipper stepping on. Mabel noticed this too. She looked at her twin, a look of worry on her face. He shrugged it off and sat in a seat with her. When they arrived at the school, Dipper made a beeline for the building. He hadn't seen Emma in a while, and they hadn't talked much. He missed her. The teen walked through the hallway, approaching her locker.
Wait! Who was that with her? Dipper had never seen the guy before. He was a largely built teen. A letterman jacket slung over his shoulder. They were leaning against Emma's locker, talking and...laughing. Dipper wouldn't have thought much of it and would've approached, but then they leaned closer. They were kissing! Dipper felt his mouth go dry and all of the oxygen leave his lungs. He felt dizzy again, like someone had just punched him in the gut.
The two parted and Emma looked up, noticing Dipper. Her smile instantly left her face and her face went pale. She looked as if she was about to say something, but Dipper turned around and left before she could speak. He ran out of the building, trying to escape. He didn't make it far before he crashed. Dipper hit the ground hard, something landing on top of him.
"Watch where you're going!" It was Pacifica.
"I could say the same to you." Dipper replied, trying to regain some composure.
"Oh, it's you dipper." She began, standing up. "I haven't seen you around school much lately." Dipper stood and looked at her awkwardly.
"Yeah, I've been...sick." He rubbed his neck as he tried to think of the right words.
"Right...well watch where you're going next time, or I'm going to send you my dry cleaning bill." Pacifica said before sauntering off.
"...will do." He said, walking back through the doors. The halls were fairly empty now, only a few stragglers. Dipper couldn't help but feel as if he was being watched. There was no one there, but he just had a nagging feeling. He was the last one in the hallway now. The walk to class was silent, until the sound of rapid footsteps echoed through the hall. Dipper stopped in his tracks, listening for the source of the noise. A figure came skidding out from a corner before barreling down the hall in his direction. The teen's eyes widened as he saw a girl tackle him to the ground. He shut his eyes tight on impact, waiting to hit the ground. They crumpled to the ground in a large thud. The next thing he heard was shattering glass.
"What's with everyone knocking me down today?" He asked.
"Dipper Pines?"
"Yeah?" Who was this girl? How did she know his name? She looked about his age. Her long blonde hair was tied back with a purple bow and she had a light layer of makeup on.
"I'm sorry, but you're in grave danger."
