          hello everyone !! thank you for reading my book, it means so much to me and i literally cannot believe it got this many reads??? like WHAT — , but all I can say is thank you so much, it means so much to me and I appreciate it so much <3

           it's also crazy to be because i wrote this so long ago? like i believe i started writing it in sixth grade and i tHiNk I published it when I was seventh but to be honest I can't even remember and it's so weird to think that this book has been around here for YEARS , like I first posted it in 2018 and IT'S JULY 2021 AS I AM WRITING THIS HELP 😭😭

          ALSO ANOTHER NOTE I SAW THIS BOOK IN A TIKTOK WHICH IS CRAZY AND I STARTED FREAKING OUT BECAUSE IT HAD A SHIT TON OF VIEWS LIKE WOW, i literally SCREAMED I never thought my book would be in a tiktok!!!

          but back to the points that i actually wanted to address... my writing was not the greatest in seventh grade, to put it nicely. it was pretty bad. the writing wasn't good, I had barely planned anything at all besides for her name and that she was gonna be thomas's girlfriend ( fun fact!! when i started writing it in sixth she was going to date newt but I decided against it when I was in seventh grade, but I saw some people saying they shipped newt and Clara LMAOO 😭😭  ). and speaking of ships, i am very sorry for Clara and Thomas' RUSHED RELATIONSHIP WHAT WAS THAT ISN'T THOMAS ONLY IN THE MAZE FOR 3 DAYS OR SOME SHIT, and I mean she confessed in the middle—ish I think!! i was such a big stydia ( welp i still am ) that i was like YES YES GET TOGETHER, and blatantly referenced teen wolf WAYYY too many times —

          and that brings me to another choice i wanted to bring up,, my problematic choice of faceclaim!! so recently i saw a bunch of people call out holland in my comment section so i did some research and found out that she's very problematic ( i found an informative post on instagram on @/ronniesexposing 's account ) but i will be recasting holland as someone else and take out the gifs and everything as soon as possible! i do not have another faceclaim in mind at the moment ( but i'll do some searching and see what i can find!! ) so please feel free to imagine Clara as anyone you like and if you want you can always leave me suggestions too!!

          i think the last thing that i wanted to say is that i have not updated desiderium in a while, but i'm sure y'all know that!! at the moment i don't think i'll update it anytime soon either. but i am thinking of rewriting the whole series, and when i do, i may update it, so i'm going to try my best!!
