In the morning I'm in a rush. I have to put everything in the water to soak along with taking a shower and getting redressed in time to meet the girls who are picking me up around mid-morning. I'm a little breathless as I wait for them to arrive just a little less than half a mile from our huts. The boys, of course, are watching me like hawks. It was strange this morning moving around camp with these men that I'd been intimate with, even more so since it was so recent. Today I could get away with both of them, but that won't always be true.

Relief fills me when a sleek car pulls up covered in yellow and green paint. Okoye instantly gets out with a grin and runs a hand over my stomach as a greeting before helping me into the car. She doesn't even glance at the men up on the hill before Nakia speeds off with a little laugh. "We have a full day planned; clay masks, pressure massage, and even a cool seaweed massage-" Nakia pauses while Okoye sighs. We know this isn't exactly Okoye's favorite thing, but Nakia and I are also two of the only people who know that she's nearly two months pregnant as well. She needs to learn to slow down at some point and this'll be good practice for her.

"It's good to get you away for a while anyway. Those two men are too protective for their own good."

"I don't mind them, Okoye." I soothe, but she just huffs.

"They are not the point of today anyway." Nakia brings our minds back to the matter at hand as she whips smoothly around a corner in front of our destination. The two women get out and then Okoye heaves me out of the car as well.

"I can't blame them for being protective since I can barely get out of a car by myself these days." I tell her and a smile flashes across her face as we enter a round room filled with women in varying stages of pregnancy. Someone greets us and settles us down among the circle of women before we strip almost completely naked and begin slathering mud on us. It feels a little childish getting muddy on purpose, but I'm smiling the whole while and for once my mind is at ease from the confusion that so often plagues it. Once we're all evenly coated, we settle down in special chairs meant for pregnant women and I let loose a heavy sigh.

"See, those men were weighing you down." Okoye points out and I open my eyes just to shoot her a little side eye that has both her and Nakia laughing.

"Oh, you have more than one man, do you?" Another woman comments with honey eyes and a tummy just a bit smaller than mine.

"More to dote on you." Another woman adds and the group rumbles with soft laughter that makes me smile.

"I do have two men, I guess. Two good men." That guilt and confusion starts to creep back into my heart. The weight that Okoye was talking about starts to settle back on my shoulders and I nearly groan at the fact.

"A rarity, honey. Keep them close." She responds and I smile weakly back at her relaxed face.

"A baby can never have too many good mothers or good fathers, I say." A woman who is just going around brushing people's hair says and her words receive many hums of agreement. My hands slide over the mud on my stomach as I stare at the bulge. I'd never really thought about it that way. Does it really matter if the baby knows which is its father or is it enough that it will simply be loved? Is it selfish of me to keep the information from the baby?

"What about the two men and me?" I ask a little quietly, but it catches attention.

"Do you not know which is the father? Don't worry about that sweetie, Ashanti doesn't either. Be glad they want to be around!" Honey eyes beside me says and points to a little thing across from me who waves with a soft smile.

"No, no I know who the father is, but..." I trail off, not sure how to continue. The circle quiets as they all look to me, including Nakia and Okoye. They didn't ask me many questions about the boys, so I'm sure this information is new to them as well.
