*Steve's POV*
I head to my room after talking with y/n, chuckling the whole way. It isn't too far from yours. I just have to go down a floor and I'm right under you. When either of us have a particularly bad night, we knock messages in Morse code through the floor. I sit down at my drawing desk and start to sketch you rolling your eyes. I'll give it to you later and maybe that'll cheer you up. Not too long into it, I realize that won't be necessary.
"God, Bucky!" I hear you shout and I instantly grin. It's not like I haven't heard a girl yell that before, but it's definitely been a while. Not since the forties. I stand and cover my ears as I walk out of my room and to the gathering room. Luckily Tony's A.I. has been installed in the new facility, so it's easy to get into contact with the team.
"Friday, could you get the team to gather where I am? Leave out Bucky and y/n, please." I ask nicely.
"Of course, sir. Everyone is on their way." She tells me and I sit down on the couch with a sigh, content to wait. Clint comes in first, grinning like a fox. I return his smile.
"I could hear them from the roof. Damn." He says and shakes my hand before sitting down on the opposite side of the couch.
"Well it's about time. They were either going to do this or murder one another." I say honestly and Clint nods. "Just be thankful you're not in the room under them." I tell him and he chuckles.
"I don't know, Rogers," Nat arrives and sashays over to sit on the armrest next to me. "a lot of guys don't mind listening to their particular kind of music." She smirks as my cheeks get a little pink.
"If what I just heard is music then I'm a dancing monkey." Tony butts in as he shows up. He plops down on the recliner across from me and sighs happily.
"I wouldn't argue with that, Stark." Wanda responds with a cheeky smile and the Vision on her tail. Tony shrugs and kisses her hand as she walks past, earning a light slap on the back of his head from her.
I lean forward and take out the list from my pocket. "Alright. Now, Wanda you were out first so you're cooking the meals for the rest of the month-"
"Thank god it was her and not you Tony. I think we would've starved otherwise." Clint interrupts me with a sour look.
Tony makes a fake offended face. "I can, you know, make a great coffee." We all groan at that and I continue.
"After Wanda it's Tony. You have to shave your face and keep it that way for two weeks." That's met with some giggles as Tony pouts. "Natasha, no pranks on Clint and I for a week." She smirks slightly and nods. Frankly, everyone was afraid of making Natasha's punishment too bad. She's a little too good at revenge. I turn to Clint and hold out a hand. "We were even in how far away we were from the date, so I'd say it's a tie." He reaches out and shakes my hand, but everyone else moans.
"That's bullshit. Only one person can win." Tony points out and everyone else nods.
I relax back into my seat and shrug. "We could make another bet to solve this one." I suggest, glancing over at Clint to see if he's in agreement.
He nods once and grins. "Let's up the game a bit as well." He proposes and leans forward, putting his elbows on his knees.
My lips curve and my eyebrows go up. "What do you have in mind?" I ask.
"First person that gets Barnes to take a swing at someone else wins." Instantly I reach out and shake his hand again.
"Deal." I say.
"Hold on. What are the stakes?" Natasha asks after elbowing my head.
Pondering for only a moment, I respond. "They win the previous bet and...they get to make whatever changes they want to the other's suit. The person then has to wear the suit to the nearest children's hospital." I look around the circle and see everyone nodding, then look at Clint.
