After my Mum got home, I went upstairs to my room. "Hello." My Mum smiled. "Hi. How was it?" I asked. "Good. And Jude? Where is he?" Mum asked. "He's in bed. I gave him some ice cream; read him a book and he fell asleep." I explained. My Mum nodded. "Alright, make sure to enjoy your night okay. Don't go to bed too late. You've got school tomorrow." 'Yay. I'm so excited.'  "Yep. I know. Goodnight." I smiled. My Mum smiled and gave me a kiss.

"Val! Up, up. Time for school." Mum called. 'Ugh. Not now. I can't go to school. It's so boring and childish.'  "Valentina! Now please!" Mum called again. "I'm coming, I'm coming." I replied. I got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast. "Nice seeing you dressed." Mum teased. 'Mhm. Funny Mum. Super-duper funny.'  I went towards the fridge when my brother pushed in front of me. "Sorry Val! Can I show you, my drawing?" Jude asked politely. "Yeah of course! Let me get the orange juice and we'll look at it together, with Mum." I smiled and looked at my Mum. My Mum nodded and smiled back. I grabbed two glasses, and the jug of orange juice. I then poured some orange juice into Jude's glass, and into my glass. Jude started gulping down his orange juice. "All done." He giggled. "And I finished my toast. Now can we look at my drawing?" Jude asked. "Oh, alright. Explain to me what you created. I want to see what you were thinking." I smiled. My Mum sat down next to my brother and her and I were listening to my brother's explanation on his drawing he created.

After listening to my brother for about 5 minutes, Jude, Mum and I cleaned the table and got all our things for the day. 'BING' 'She really had to message me? Now? Great.' "Whose phone was that?" My Dad called. My Dad is always working, so this week he got a shift where he could leave a little bit later than usual. "Mine." I replied. "Alright kids, come on we're going to be late. Your lunches are on the table, collect it and get into the car." Mum called. My brother and I got our bags and got into the car. "Seatbelts on!" My Mum giggled. "Yep." We both called.
