We walked to the next class. "Where's Math at?" Jae asked. "It's in F105. It's not too far from here. We have to walk downstairs and then we go left." I explained. "Do you like Math?" Isabella asked. "Yeah. It's fun, the best thing about it is it's the same in every country." Jae explained. "I never knew that." I laughed. "I honestly do not like any subject at school besides recess and lunch." Isabella giggled. "She hates every class. My favourite class is English." I said. "Oh, why is it your favourite subject?" Jae asked. "I love writing. Like narratives. Oh! Did you hear what Mr Gordan said about the assignment?" I asked. "Yeah, I did. I'm horrible at writing. I'm sure you're great Valentina." He complimented. "Val" I smiled.
When we got to class, our Math teacher, Mr Smith was upset with Isabella, Jae and I for being late. "You know studying is important! You mustn't be late next class. Take a seat." He said crossly. Isabella and I were giggling when Jae nudged us. "Oops" Isabella laughed. 'Silence!" Mr Smith called. 'Too much coffee this morning huh?' "Sorry." I replied. "Sir I'm sorry we're late. We're doing a job. I'm new and they were helping me get around the school." Jae covered up. "Hm." Mr Smith nodded. "You're a lifesaver. We would of gotten detention." Isabella whispered. Jae smiled.
After school, Isabella invited Jae and I to her house to do homework. "So Bella, listen up. If B x B= 2B, what does B x B x B x B x B equal to?" Jae questioned. "Jae, I can't do this. It's super boring." Isabella complained. "B, you're doing so well. Come on. We've got four questions left. Let's do this and get some ice cream after. How does that sound?" Jae bribed. "Ugh, fine. Please be quick! History is the best subject because all you do is research." Isabella laughed. Jae giggled. Meanwhile, I was trying to think of some narrative ideas for English. Scrunching paper, by paper up thinking of ideas. "This is hopeless. Romance? Really? I don't even like romance. It's disgusting." I exaggerated. "Well, have you read romance before?" Jae asked. "No. It's extremely boring. Person is depressed because they don't have a significant other, other person is depressed because they have no love in their life, the two meet and its 'love at first sight'. Bluh! Gross. It's the same story every time." I explained. "She's just jealous." Isabella teased. "Be quiet! Why would I be jealous?" I asked. "You see everyone with a partner and get jealous. Ha-ha. I'm kidding." She giggled. I rolled my eyes and giggled. "My sister also writes narratives, Val. Maybe I could bring in some of her work." Jae suggested. "Really? Wouldn't that be cheating?" I asked. "You're not going to copy her work, you'll get to read it." Jae explained. I nodded.
